Silk shawls and straw hats with large fields are perhaps the main accessories of the upcoming summer. But if both the first and second ones can be easily found both at luxury brands (just take a look at this Jacquemus miracle) and at the mass market, then the search for a concise turban bandage may be delayed. Many brands, if they produce turbans, then either with a coarse print, or with excessive details.
One of the options that appealed to us was found in Zara - this band has a silk texture and a pleasant combination of colors, and you can wear it now, for example, with a beige trench coat. It does not need to tie, and thanks to an elastic rubber band, it will not fall down on the eyes. Such an accessory is more reminiscent of the fashion of the beginning of the 20th century and the works of Paul Poire, rather than of authentic turbanes, say Sikhs, the wearing of which can cause a debate on appropriation, as it was with the Gucci show. Nevertheless, the turban, due to its convenience, has always been a rather unifying thing: in different historical periods it was worn by various peoples throughout the world, with polar religious and stylistic preferences.
