Lida Fox is not a pseudonym, as it seems at first glance, but the real name of a seventeen-year-old native of Southern California. Being the daughter of a ballerina and an opera singer, she dances well and understands classical music: her favorite work is a cycle of four operas The Nibelung Ring by German composer Richard Wagner. Fox could follow in the footsteps of her parents, but decided to become a model, for the sake of which she even switched to correspondence school.
Formally, Lida began her career in 2009, but before the start of 2011, the most remarkable of her works was a U-turn in Wonderland magazine. The girl came out on the catwalks during the last fall-winter Fashion Week in London: she was buried by Charles Anastase, Felder Felder and Erdem. So far, the most successful for Fox were the spring-summer shows that took place this fall. In New York, she closed the A Détacher show and defiled at Custo Barcelona, and in Paris went on Balenciaga. A genuine interest in the young American was shown by the designer Marc Jacobs: he invited her to participate in the shows of Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton. Perhaps now the girl will collaborate with Mark or his friends, like Katie Grand, editor-in-chief of Love magazine, who often shoots favorite Jacobs for her publication.
