Art Camera Images
The Google Art Project platform has been around for a long time and helps those who want to join the beautiful, but are not able to visit the exhibition in another country. The site contains an impressive online collection of works of art that are stored in museums of several dozen countries. It is believed that electronic copies of pictures always lose to the originals, but Google seems to be serious about changing the situation and trying to make it so that viewing of works of art online is practically no different from going to a museum or gallery. Recently, Google introduced the device Art Camera - a camera that was designed specifically for shooting high-resolution pictures (several billion pixels). The company calls photographs made with its help “gigapixel” and puts them in a new section of the site. Such pictures allow you to view the works of art in detail and see the smallest strokes and strokes of the artist.
On the site you can find gigapixel photos of the works of Camille Pissarro, Claude Monet, Paul Signac, Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O'Keefe, Titian, Rubens, Paul Gauguin and many other artists. In addition, Google sent a batch of Art Camera cameras to museums in different countries - so the collection will continue to grow.
