Cosmetic fashion regularly includes new textures. and formats care products. Some enjoy the attention due to the loud name of the brand, others are becoming popular among instagram users, and still others come from Asia with its rich and creative market. In particular, over the past couple of years, caregivers have shown interest in Korean splash masks: these are liquid means for easy peeling, cleansing, moisturizing, which can be used in several different ways. We understand what the splash mask is different from other liquid products and whether it can be the right level of care.
Splash masks, like many other care fluids, which are easy to get confused in their appointments, were invented in Korea - the most popular and affordable brands are Blithe, and you must have seen the colored bottles on the lists of unusual Asian products. Last year, many wrote about this format of care with interest, and in 2018, it became easier to buy liquid masks. They look attractive, but first you need to figure out whether they are worthy of space on the cosmetic shelf.
The concept of splash masks is designed for those who want to reduce the time to care to a minimum: the main advantage of the liquid is the ability to use it in the shower and a short time of the procedure - you need to distribute the mask only fifteen to thirty seconds. Some funds must be washed off, others can be left on the skin, but they all give a visible result. As a rule, it is peeling, lightening, smoothing skin tone and radiance. This effect provides a high concentration of active substances. The texture of the splash masks is described as something between a toner, essence and a serum or booster, so it is unlikely that such a product will seem unusual to those already familiar with the diversity of the Asian market. Unusually, except to dilute cosmetic liquid with water - this is mandatory. For Korean women, however, this is part of the tradition: women can wash themselves many times a day, just to refresh and clean the skin.
Splash masks partially justify promises of ease of use: the liquid must be measured with a cap, mixed with water, rinsed with this solution on the face, and the rest of the funds distributed over the skin. Also, a portion of the product can be mixed with water directly on the face, standing in the shower, and the quality of care will not be affected by the rush. In the Russian reality, the ritual way looks too cumbersome: you need to keep a spacious bowl in the bathroom and take care of the quality of the water. If this does not seem superfluous to you, the tool is definitely worth trying by the rules.
These masks are suitable for healthy skin in order to quickly cosmetic transformation: they are aimed at the effects of radiant, porcelain and smooth skin that are fashionable in Asian make-up. They will also be good for those with oily skin: many of them work with acids, such as lactic and salicylic. If your skin is sensitive and reactive, experiment with liquid masks is more careful: do not try to put them on inflammation, dilute with plenty of water and check on the wrist before use.
Splash mask can be used two or three times a week, it is easy to combine them with other means, but this peeling may not be enough. However, if the liquid is not suitable for facial care, you can use it on the skin of the body for easy exfoliation or, for the same purposes, on the scalp. Like any "water with acids", the splash mask may come up and not come up. It is important to pay attention to how you apply the product. The founder of the online store and blog Peach & Lily, Alisha Yun, says that in Korea such masks are called not “splash” (from the word “splash”), but “patting”: after washing, you need to distribute the rest of the money by patting the fingers. But nothing prevents you from looking for your tricks - especially since splash masks are declared as multi-functional products.
