Richard Clarkson lamps are clouds of polyester fibers that are soft in appearance and appear to be even to the touch. The design is suspended from the ceiling or mounted on a tripod like a floor lamp. In addition to the size, the clouds differ in the complexity of the response to sound or voice: the simplest Cloud Shade lamp is just a lampshade in the form of a cloud.
