Capsule - trade show, which runs as much as 12 times a year, starts in Paris and then goes to Berlin, Las Vegas and New York. It involves dozens of brands, of which ordinary people are familiar only with the B Store, Pendleton and Wood Wood, and only Fur Fur's devoted readers know about the rest - the more interesting it is to follow. Simultaneously with Capsule in Paris, an exhibition of clothing MAN, which is responsible for the novel Bernardi-James. On MAN with big brands like Fred Perry, Lacoste or Levi's, little-known in wide circles Frenchmen Bérangère Claire, Commune de Paris and Good Guys are mixed. Tranoï Preview, a new offshoot of Tranoï - an event organized by the creator of the concept store l'éclaireur Armand Adid. The second season in a row in the capital of Britain is held an independent men's Fashion Week. This time the event promises to take even greater scope in comparison with the debut season. In addition to British giants Alexander McQueen, Burberry Prorsum, Paul Smith, at London Collections: Men, Rag & Bone Americans and Dolce & Gabbana Italians, opening a boutique on New Bond Street, will seem. They will appear at TsUM on June 25 and 26, and from July 1 they will be available in chain stores distributing Lancôme.

 

HUH HOLLAND FOR SANDRO

 

Sandro teamed up with photographer Hugh Holland, who is known for photographs of California skaters of the mid-seventies. The French brand has released T-shirts with prints-pictures from Holland’s Locals Only book, as well as several skateboards.

At the beginning of the summer, the annual award of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, one of the most prestigious fashion awards, will take place. The board is headed by designer Diana von Fürstenberg, and Nadia Swarovski is responsible for awarding special awards from Swarovski.

BENEXT FASHION DESIGN CONTEST

AMY WINEHOUSE: A FAMILY PORTRAIT

The first large-scale retrospective dedicated to David Bowie opened in Victoria and Albert London. The exhibition features 300 objects, from albums and photos to personal instruments and handwritten lyrics. There are also costumes - for example, a 1972 Ziggy Stardust jumpsuit.

 

This year, the Metropolitan Museum has dedicated the exhibition to punk. According to the critic Suzy Menkes, it turned out a bit mediocre. Nevertheless, looking at the collections of Rodarte and Vivienne Westwood, inspired by the culture of punks, is always useful.

 

The Jewish Museum of London decided to dedicate an exhibition to Amy Winehouse, and her brother and sister are supervised by the late singer. Retrospective will provide access to the singer's home archives and tell about her love for music and fashion, as well as Sudoku and Snoopy. The exhibition promises to include photos of family life, Winehouse, and even pictures of her beloved grandmother.

MONOGRAPHY OF RAFA SIMONS AND RICK OWENS

In Kensington Palace, a retrospective of royal monarchs from the fifties to nineties of the last century will open. The exhibition focuses on the dresses of three women - the actual Queen of Britain and Princess Diana and Margaret.

 

The Salvatore Ferragamo Museum in Florence explores the role of shoes in myths and legends, including the well-known tales of Cinderella, Puss in Boots and The Wizard of Oz. The exhibition also tells the story of the designer Salvatore Ferragamo, his career and shoes that he created. In addition, at The Amazing Shoemaker you can see photos, sculptures, illustrations, stories, comics and a short film where shoes occupy the main role.

 

Founder and creative director of i-D magazine, Terry Jones, continues to publish a series of books about designers. Following Ray Kawakubo, he dedicates publications to Raf Simons and Rick Owens. The monographs of designers printed by Tachen have collected interviews and filming with Raf and Rick and their collections throughout the history of i-D.
