Large earrings
A few years ago, monosurfaces created a furor. But if then the proposal to wear only one part of the jewelry looked fresh, but today this technique has become a habit. At this time, a colossal number of brands recalled mono-serums: from Rokh, Marine Serre and Mugler to Off-White, Lemaire, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Giambattista Valli and others. The shape and color can be any - the designers offered both minimalist chains and fancy plates and clusters.
Others preferred huge decorations that rarely disappear from fashionable radar. Jacquemus, Y / Project, Paco Rabanne and Stella McCartney showed large rings of plastic and textiles, intricate petals, as well as pendants with rhinestones and even clips.
T-shirts over clothes
A couple of seasons in a row designers showed knitted vests with ornaments, but the trend did not catch on. Now came the turn of tight T-shirts - knitted or ribbed - which can always be found in the mass market regardless of the catwalk trends. These can be worn as an independent piece of clothing (Nina Ricci as an example) or over classic shirts (as in Loewe), sweaters (as shown by Jacquemus, Kenzo and Giambattista Valli) and even a coat (as in Each x Other).
Chess cage
Each season, designers experiment with new types of cells. At Paris Fashion Week, tartan and Vichy were not as popular as a year ago, but the chess pattern captured the catwalks. Loewe placed the cage on the coat, completing the squares of different materials. In the Off-White collection, a yellow-gray print adorned dresses and capes (a clear allusion to racing flags), and Louis Vuitton combined a chess cage with a leopard pattern. More unusual examples are Nina Ricci, Christian Dior, Courrèges, Kenzo and Balenciaga.
Rampage of prints
Fashion weeks have long called for combining everything with everything, without restricting imagination. From season to season, designers offer combinations of a variety of prints: flowers with a leopard, stripes with abstraction, zebra with cucumbers - and much more. In Altuzarra outfits, for example, you can notice three patterns at once, and in the Paco Rabanne collection - up to four. In addition to them, you can turn to Lanvin, Haider Ackermann, Isabel Marant and Kenzo for inspiration.
Flowers
Floral print is one of the pillars of modern fashion. For the next fall and winter, designers offer a classic approach to a new tune: dresses, down jackets, knitted sweaters, jackets and blouses once again placed images of flowers - but such as if they were painted directly on the fabric. The Y / Project print resembles old botanical posters, the plants on Andrew Gn's things seem to have been taken from impressionist paintings, and the drawings in the collections of Valentino and Dries Van Noten seem to be made in watercolor. Images of flowers are also available from Givenchy.
Violet
If white, cream and pale green ruled the Milan fashion week, in Paris, on the contrary, they chose a bright variant. Different shades of purple can be seen in the collections of Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Paco Rabanne, Balmain, Lanvin and many others. Brands combined it with neutral colors: white, black, gray and beige. The exception was Chanel, who made a down jacket in purple and added a red striped knit dress to it.
Gothic
Subcultures are back. In New York, grunge reigned on the catwalks, but in Paris, a laconic gothic took the palm. In the Alexander McQueen collection, there are fitted suits in combination with massive boots and lacquered chokers, rough leather coats and a black lace dress in Victorian style. In Ann Demeulemeester, dark outfits were complemented with long gloves and necklaces of feathers, and Balenciaga showed hooded mantle coats, jackets with stand-up collar, tight black glasses and heavy boots with square toes. Even more inspiring examples can be seen on shows Altuzarra, Lemaire, Maison Margiela and others.
Long capes
This time the designers offered not just capes, but elongated models in the style of a coat. Balmain, Chanel, Elie Saab and Off-White showed spectacular capes to the floor, like mantles of fairytale heroes. And Miu Miu, Valentino, Celine, Maison Margiela and Loewe preferred the options below the knee length and up to the ankle - they look no less dramatic. The style is not important: there are also comfortable wool capes, and evening options with sequins, lace and sparkles.
Goose foot
Return goose foot on the podium was not long in coming. A classic black and white print could be seen on the costumes and coats of Chanel, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen, and in bright color - in the collections of Chloé and Ottolinger. It is noteworthy that most designers do not experiment with a goose foot, offering classic options. It stands out except for Balmain: a motley print, fringe, denim, organza and other details are combined in asymmetrical jackets, miniskirts and coats.
Bright blue denim
Jeans never go out of fashion - except that her options compete for first place from season to season. This time the designers decided to pay attention to the material of rich blue color. It can be made into flared skirts in the spirit of the 70s, retrowool lined with sheep wool, classic jeans and whole sets in American style. Examples can be found in the collections of A.P.C., Y / Project, Christian Dior, Victoria / Tomas.
