Trend: knitting
It is rather difficult to disassemble fashion for knitted things - they have long been out of fashion. Even if you follow the autumn shows over the past few years, it turns out that a variety of knitwear is somehow present in half of the collections. The last autumn was the leader of a large-knit hypertrophied mating, the last - smooth knitwear and funny sweaters with patterns. This fall knitwear became monotonous, quite traditional and very textured. In the course are braids, scar and all sorts of expressive types of wool like mohair. Large knitting has captured a wide area: now not only sweaters and cardigans have become knitted, but also coats, skirts, dresses and stockings.
Common this season cable knit ("Spit") has been popular over the past decades. In the 50s, short-cut styles with single-cut sleeves were in use, in the 60s sweater dresses appeared, in the 70s classic sweaters were lengthened, and in the 80s they became looser and more voluminous. Also in the course have always been the so-called fisherman's cardigans - "anglers cardigans", voluminous sweaters with a collar, large knit. |
We saw knitted sweaters both at Chanel, and at Louis Vuitton, and at Stella McCartney (by the way, her significant huge knit cardigan was inspired by photos of her mother Linda, known in the 60s artist and photographer), and in Chloe and Prada were so inspired by viscous , what made the socks c "pigtail" and vase overalls.

This season's knitwear is based on a different legacy: shapeless grunge sweaters of the 90s, sweaters with a thin strap around the shape of housewives of the 50s, cozy “braids” from the 70s, elegant pullovers of the free cut from the 80s. Knitwear is now combined with absolutely everything - from silk dresses to the floor, lace skirts and trousers to ripped jeans, leather jackets and boots. Martens, and both boys and girls can often wear the same thing.

Knitted sweater is another bright indicator of the fact that seasonality in clothes loses its meaning. Sweaters and cardigans are worn both in the winter and in the summer, and in the spring and in the autumn they light-weight dresses or put on a sweater in a pair of sizes more than only with rubber boots and golf shoes.
Arthur Lomakin, stylist: I like knitted things, like all warm clothes, the density of the material and texture, that they warm with your own natural warmth. The best are rough and prickly, they give a separate pleasure from contact with the skin. In addition to my own knitted things, Forget Me Not, I like other brands that I most often take from friends. Most of all I am impressed by even types of mating - English gum, smooth surface and other uniform patterns. I love, of course, "pigtails", especially in the spirit of the fact that the Irish are knitting - a good, rough knit. Knitwear nice to wear and at home - a sort of domestic bliss. And for girls - with skirts to the floor, especially pleated wool. Any knitted sweater is good in itself, and if a girl wears it, then simply tights and shoes. |
