What to wear in summer: 10 new wardrobe hits
EVERY SEASON we talk about things that it makes sense to add to your wardrobe. This time we chose 10 items of clothing, accessories and footwear that will be found in all the shops of the city this summer. However, do not rush to the novelties: many trendy things are probably left with you from last summer. In this article, we recall what.
Fancy jeans
This summer, the more interesting the jeans, the better. The new collections are dominated by models of free cut with all sorts of decorative elements: with huge cuts, like Alice + Olivia, patches and applications, like Roberto Cavalli, waves like Ellery, huge cuffs like in the new collection Monse, contrast cuffs like Off-White, or even with lacing, like Just Cavalli - in the style of the 2000s. Especially popular are dark blue, pale blue and, of course, very light shades. When choosing a top or blouse, follow the simple rule: the more intricate and more colorful the bottom, the more restrained the top should be.

Panama
The favorite headdress of American rappers of the second half of the 80s is undergoing a renaissance and is ready this summer to compete with caps. Depending on the material, Panama can be worn with both light romantic dresses, and with near-sports clothing like sweatshirts and sweatshirts.
Paul & Joe recommended combining it with plain clothes in pastel shades and eye-catching earrings. At the Aalto fashion show, models in high panes decorated with a pearl chain showed them with jumpsuits and silk dresses. Italian brand Etro offered the most relaxed option - to combine a hat with a light summer robe and palazzo trousers. The most impressive and inspiring example is the Miu Miu cruise collection, in which the head starts to feel a little dizzy from the mix of prints, metallic, satin and excess trim.

Straw bag
These bags are usually associated with a quick beach holiday or picnic. But if these activities are not yet in your plans, a compact raffia bag will give the right mood and brighten up everyday life in the city. Do not be afraid to look inappropriate: leading designers chose this trend last year - wicker bags in all possible variations appeared in the collections of Ralph Lauren and Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.
This season, the woven suitcase was seen at the Dolce & Gabbana show, and the spacious shopping bag is from Michael Kors. Braided clutches will look great with flying dresses made of silk or chiffon, while larger models will look great with everyday things, such as denim shorts and cotton tops. Pay attention to the rigid design of the bag - they look more harmoniously on a busy street.

Sundress
A sort of replacement for dresses from last season, reminiscent of shirts. A sundress is another thing whose history originates from the Ancient East. This summer, there is no one dominant trend: Diesel Black Gold, Chloé, Christian Dior presented models in a relaxed underwear style, others, like Alberta Ferretti, on the contrary, turned the sundress into a full evening evening dress. Fans of minimalism will like monochrome dresses like those of Jasper Conran, and ethnic fans will find options with exotic patterns and bright ornaments like those of Alice + Olivia. Sundress is a universal thing, it is easy to combine it with other items of clothing. So, in cool weather, you can wear it on a shirt or t-shirt, as suggested by Milly and Eudon Choi.

Glasses with colored glass
Designers offer this season to forget about classic black and brown sunglasses and choose models with colored lenses. So, in the collections of Marni and Elie Saab appeared green glasses, Versace and Paul Smith - pink, and very cool yellow with a hint of both the 70th and 90th - at Stella McCartney. The size and shape of the principle do not matter, the main thing is to choose the bright color of the glass, which you will like, and make sure that they protect from UV rays. In this case, the price does not matter: even glasses from the mass market can work.

Yellow dress
One of the main colors of the season, along with pink, was yellow. Designers presented at the spring-summer shows a whole range of shades from lemon to mustard. The most impressive this summer will look monochrome yellow total look, but there is also a more compromise version - a yellow dress. The style can be absolutely anything: it can be an option in the floor in the spirit of the Victorian era, as in the Erdem collection, with deep cuts from the hip, like in Lacoste, or a model in a linen style, as in the Tibi collection.

Waist bag
Practical waist bag is not the prerogative of tourists and travelers. On the podium, they lit up about two years ago, this season has evolved markedly. Now there are the usual sporty and minimalistic models - like the Off-White and DKNY, mimicking a corset and belt, and full-fledged options for getting out - like the Emporio Armani, and spacious belt bags-bags like Marni that no one left unnoticed .

Bathrobe
Designers adopted light gowns as an urban uniform about two years ago, at the peak of their interest in linen style. Last spring, they appeared in the Gucci and Givenchy collections, this year from Haider Ackermann, Lanvin and Lacoste. Against the background of the desire for comfort, bathrobes occupied their niche in a timely manner and were successfully entrenched in it - that is why, in the summer, you will not get away from them again. Combine them with shorts, a regular T-shirt or, as advised by the Ukrainian brand Sleeper, with a pair of classic straight jeans. The more daring can wear a bathrobe like a real evening dress, complementing the outfit with large earrings and high-heeled shoes - like in a Zara lookbook.

Mühli
Mühli - slippers or shoes without a backdrop, which appeared in ancient Rome, ruled the ball last summer. There are several types: thin stiletto stiletto (Givenchy), resistant heels (Marco de Vincenzo), kitten heels (Sportmax) or the option of almost flat running, reminiscent of Moroccan grandmothers (Gianvito Rossi). When choosing a pair, think in advance about what you’ll wear it with: high-heel models look great with office clothes and an outfit, and for a more relaxed, everyday set, muly slippers are perfect.

Pendants
The pendants are one of the simplest and most ancient jewelery that once served as a protective amulet and talisman. Now often the suspension is just a suspension. And since massive jewelery has long ceased to be the prerogative of hip-hop divas exclusively, this season the catchy, massive jewels offer to wear to everyone - for inspiration, turn to Chanel, Prada, Givenchy and Mulberry shows.
