About the choice of cosmetics
I love black and gold colors, and I like the way they look together. In general, everything that gets into my house, especially into the bathroom, should be combined with the interior, which I carefully verified. It is also important for me that the jars carry their history, especially the flavors. I am bored of buying something in shopping centers, and this concerns cosmetics, so I usually bring everything from abroad, because there you can go to the stores of my favorite cosmetic brands, where there is a special atmosphere, beautiful interior, and few more people. So the packaging design is important to me, and inside there can be blue shades and bright blush. I don't usually have such a cool product packed ugly. Probably, this is all good marketing, that cool banks that like me make dark banks. I am their target audience.
My skin is sensitive to change, so for me it is important not to experiment with care. I used to use the L'Occitane rice series and their apple face cream, but for some reason all of this was discontinued. While I stopped at Aesop, besides, they have a beautiful bottle design that looks like old pharmacist bottles, and I really like the interior of the chain stores of this company. Here I tell and remember how I visited them in the West Village area in New York or in the Marais in Paris, and not on purpose, but by chance, walking through the streets.
Pro makeup
I was interested in decorative cosmetics since childhood and loved to experiment. In high school I had creamy metallic shades of wisteria-colored Pupa, which I actively used during the summer holidays, visiting rock concerts or discos with electronic music. Now I especially love the Illamasqua brand, since its appearance in 2008 (although the company's history goes far back). They have a very atmospheric shop in London with a dark atmosphere, and girls-makeup artists, for example, paint their lips with black or blue lipstick. I was then struck by her lookbooks and shootings, the fabulous images they create. For example, all the metallic pigments and gloss that are now very popular with Pat McGrath, Illamasqua has been around for a long time.
My daily makeup is dull and well-established: light tone, mascara, a little blush on the cheekbones, eyebrow gel. But for the evening, I love something special. I make it for birthdays, where I want to wear a dress, for theme parties, going to clubs (I don’t go there very often, so I try to do a special make-up). I don’t usually focus on anyone’s opinion except my own, but most often I use false eyelashes (by the way, recently glued an iPhone button with glue for eyelashes, it still holds), I curl my hair, I draw arrows, dark smocks or bright lips . I love the mysterious images, but not because I want to show off, I just feel comfortable in them. I think if I lived on some uninhabited Scottish (this is important) island, I would still be dressed and dressed up for my imaginary world.
About hair
I take care of the hair quite simply: once every few months I trim the tips with hot scissors or a razor in the salon, I will surely apply the oil after washing. Shampoos love to alternate: then Aesop, then (Malin + Goetz). Nature's Gate shampoos are very popular: they smell delicious, they do not contain harmful substances, and they also promote the refusal of animal testing - this is important for me.
From an early age I decided for myself that I would have long hair, so I never wore short haircuts. Being a high school student, repainted them in defiant shades almost every two weeks: black, blue, crimson, red. Remember these paints of all colors of the rainbow, it seems, Wella? On September 1, becoming a freshman, I promised myself no longer to dye my hair, 11 years have passed since then - and I did not break it. But I have an idea about what hairstyle I will wear in adulthood, and for her will need to paint half of the head.
About beauty
Somewhere since 2007, I was seriously fascinated by fashion, became interested in photography and cinema, and since then I began to pay a lot of attention to aesthetic aspects. This was reflected in everything: the wardrobe with years changed to a dark one, although I hadn’t particularly liked a bright one before. People often wonder why I love black, but without mockery, on the contrary, with interest. Friends love to come to my house and consider some little things, vintage elements of decor. For me, the hidden meanings of things and invisible details are important - I have them everywhere. I am not telling anyone about them, but if they ask me, I will tell the whole story.
