Vintage fur, trekking boots and corduroy: 30 hits of winter wardrobe

Fashion is changing rapidly: we already see quilted down-padded jackets on the catwalks (could it have been imagined ten years ago?), famous designers switch to faux fur, and trekking shoes look just as appropriate at a party as on a mountainside. Harsh climate and bad weather fashion brands no longer ignore - to collect a comfortable and warm image can be at least in the mass market, at least in the suite. We tell you what you should pay attention to this winter in the first place.

Sheepskin coat made of artificial sheepskin

Modern technologies allow to create high-quality and warm things from artificial materials, which are sometimes indistinguishable from natural ones. First of all, it is in the hands of those who are not ready to spend the six-figure amount on outerwear. Designers like to play with color, texture and style: in addition to the classic brown and white sheepskin coats, you should look at models of pastel shades and very long coats with a wide belt. If in doubt, stop picking on the classics and boldly wear a sheepskin coat with your favorite oversize hoody, a pair of boots with a wide shaft and jeans - and warmth, and Kanye West approves.

Trekking shoes

In matters of shoes this winter, the designers did not come to a common opinion: on the catwalks the boots and boots and half boots with a gathered bootle ("harmonicas"), pointed models of metallized leather, Cossacks, sneakers and trekking boots still flash. Given the slush, ice and drifts, trekking shoes and similar to it - the most obvious choice. Thanks to a corrugated sole, ice is not terrible, and modern materials like membranes will not allow them to freeze. You can find a decent pair in a large sports network like "Decathlon" or "Sportmaster" or from outdoor brands like The North Face.

Abstract Print Sweater

Despite the fact that monochrome images remain a clear trend of this winter, the designers remembered those who are bright colors cheer up, and decorated sweaters, turtlenecks and knit tops with an abstract print. Look for ideas for new images from Phelan, Paloma Wool and our compatriot Vika Gazinskaya. Do not hesitate to combine a catchy pattern on a sweater with a colored scarf and voluminous fur - laconic accessories and discreet denim will help to balance the image.

Bag on a long chain

Do not carry with you anything extra is easier than easy - just put everything you need in the smallest bag. It seems that this rule is also well-known to designers: straw bags-baskets and capacious sports bags changed their miniature velvet, suede and leather bags on a thin chain in winter. The easiest way to combine this trend with another noticeable winter trend is fur coats and faux fur coats that look like finds from the flea market.

Knitwear with ethnoprint

Ethnoprint designers are interested in not less abstraction - this topic was addressed by Ace & Jig, Lemlem, Zara and many others. It is not at all necessary to recreate a motley image literally - it is easier to restrict one item with a pattern. Small things look the most interesting on volumetric knitwear: sweaters and turtlenecks, wide scarves, elastic bands and cardigans. We recommend to add such a thing with simple objects with a silhouette and color: flared jeans from dark denim or a trouser suit made of wool.

Hood and balaclava

Many brands remembered the testament of mothers to keep their heads and feet warm this winter: and now balaclava and bonnets are released by Rick Owens, Joseph, Uniqlo and & Other Stories. The tight-fitting neck and head of a balaclava can replace both a hat and a scarf at once, but only for those who do not like lush styling. For all the others there is a bonnet - not less functional, but not such a dense headdress.

Faux Fur Vintage Coat

So much clothing has never been produced in the world as it was in the 21st century - let it be difficult to reduce the number of purchases, we still have to try. Echoing the trends for processing and buying second-hand clothes, the designers released models of fur coats on the catwalk, as if found at the flea market - vintage cut and natural colors. Such models - with wide lapels, long fur of brown, sandy or gray shade and large buttons - can be found in the mass market, and on the mezzanine at my grandmother. We recommend playing on the contrast and wearing such a fur coat with shorts, Cossacks or sneakers, sweatshirts and balaclava. However, the classic combination with boots, midi dress and silk scarf, too, has not been canceled.

Harmonica boots

Suede and velvet boots still do not give rest to designers, but leather models with a gathered boot are more suitable for slippery winter pavement and inevitable slush. These boots look great with frivolous flower dresses and fur muted colors or midi skirts. Choosing the right pair, carefully look at the sole: it is better if it is corrugated, and the heel themselves - low and wide.

Velvet pants

Many designers remembered corduroy trousers this winter: a ribbed model (or a full-fledged two-piece suit) can be found in the mass-market and more expensive brands. We advise you to pay attention to the mustard and burgundy colors and non-standard models: for example, "pipes" like Julia Roberts in "Proximity" or velvet frame overalls. And the ideas of combinations are already ready for Paloma Wool and Max Mara.

Long gloves

Another purely practical subject. Gloves stretched out in length and most of all resemble old-fashioned models that were supposed to be worn with an evening dress. True, instead of velvet and muted shades, designers use satin fuchsia, lavender vinyl and bright yellow knitwear.
