The fourth day of London Fashion Week is just wow! The most prominent were the graduates of Central Saint Martins - Benjamin Kirchhoff and Edward Meadham, Christopher Kane and Marious Schwab. Benjamin Kirchhoff and Edward Meadham, the designers behind the Meadham Kirchhoff brand, continued the theme of deconstruction this season and presented a collection inspired by antiquity and sculpture. "Custom Made" bolero jackets, men's shirts and trousers - the elements of male modeling are again present in Meadham Kirchhoff, recalling the designers' past (until 2006, Benjamin Kirchhoff and Edward Meadham created men's clothing). The sophisticated, chaotic and silhouette-focused collection of s / s 10 from Kirchhoff is definitely yes!
Christopher Kane, who was recently hired as a consultant for Versus, was impressed not only by the collection, but also by the first line of the show. In addition to Anna Wintour, Sir Phillip Green, Natalia Vodianova and Donatella Versace were also present. This season, Christopher Kane has taken a great interest in checkered dresses - whether it is pale pink, chocolate, oversized, embroidered or inlaid with crystals. The cell history of the men's suit, polo sweaters, vests and jackets worn over lace dresses (checked, of course) were diluted. S / s 10 Christopher Kane - another collection of this season, which you can definitely put a plus, especially when you consider that the awesome Freja Beha participated in the show.
Marios Schwab this season played in the "top three" - the focus was on fabrics, color and shape, and inspiration came from the past, present and future. The surrealistic and at the same time bohemian pattern consisted of lush chiffon evening dresses, organza trouser suits, men's blazers in combination with silk dresses and mini kilts over draped skirts. The Marios Schwab collection of the s / s 10 season is aesthetically pleasing and stunningly balanced and there is no need to be Susie Menquez to appreciate it and put it "excellent."
