Report: Backstage Emilio Pucci

We continue to talk about everything that happens during Milan Fashion Week - in every minute updates from shows, street style, and now backstage shows.

This time, our contributor Ivan Litvinenko went to the backstage of the Emilio Pucci show and met the nervous Peter Dundas and models with hairstyles in the spirit of the 1960s.

On the backstage show Emilio Pucci is the toughest organization. To get on the backstage, journalists have to go through three guards with lists, the entrance to the hall with clothes is strictly prohibited, photographers crowd in a tiny stuffy room, where chignons of different colors are scattered everywhere. Hairdressers, make-up artists and models are nervous, representatives of the press are trying to find an island on which you can freely make a report.

The interview with the main MAC makeup artist lasts only five minutes, and half of our group just does not have time to get to him. This time the sixties served as inspiration for the make-up, but Edie Sedgwick or Audrey Hepburn was not the muse, and the British singer Marianna Faithful.

Having escaped from this crush to the buffet, I was surprised to find that all models with ready make-up and hairstyles are already resting there. And since all the photographers were trying to catch a good angle, pushing make-up artists in the make-up room, the models had nothing to do and they gladly posed for me. In just fifteen minutes, creative director Peter Dundas, whose nervous state can be understood, flew into the backstage and strictly told the whole press to leave the premises.
