In Japan, there was a parade of huge Pikachu
A festival dedicated to Pikachu took place yesterday in the Japanese city of Yokohama, not far from Tokyo. In the Pokémon homeland, they were not forgotten until the hit (and already annoying everyone) Pokemon Go games, so the celebration was held annually - but this time the organizers had a simple and brilliant idea to hold a parade of giant plush Pikachu on the main street of the city.
Judging by the pictures, laid out by the participants of the event, the festival was a success; the truth is, as Oyster notes, the crowd marching to Pikachu with the same cartoony smiles looks not only surreal, but also a bit intimidating. In any case, we recommend to see photos and videos.
