Architect Anna Petrenko about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week, our heroine is Anna Petrenko, the architect and owner of the TakeMeHome online store. She told about the findings from shops in Thailand, Spanish and Moscow vintage and comfortable summer shoes.

Vintage dress, COS belt, Superga sneakers

Barcelona has excellent secondhands, and this dress is a direct confirmation of this. It looks like a nurse's uniform, but it can be pretty seductive if you unbutton a few buttons on the hem and sit leg on the leg somewhere on a summer terrace. At the same time, due to the ribbed fabric, it is very cozy and does not wrinkle. In addition, he has pockets, which is a big plus. The dress is a little big for me, so I wear it with a belt and always roll up my sleeves.

The COS belt is probably the only thing I’d like to adore the Swedish brand. Their clothes don't categorically sit on me.

This model Superga shoe seems to have been removed from production, and I managed to grab the last pair in CODE7 on Red October. These are my first white sneakers. Converse, for my taste, has too many subcultural associations, while Superga has none, but it has a cool Italian name and a beautiful tag.

Wrangler jeans, Mango jacket, QMini pendant, unnamed earrings, H & M pouch, Monki boots

A year ago, when the flares were not yet fashionable, I bought this pair of Wrangler at Le Picnic from its creator Ksyusha Kushnarenko for 500 rubles. I think this is a real thing from the 70s, and not a successful stylization.

I am indifferent to leather jackets, but I lose my will at the sight of a beautiful suede jacket. Perhaps this is the main difference between the "good girl" and the "bad." The Mango jacket is made just fine for the mass market. Let's see if it will be beautiful to grow old.

Jewelry under the brands AtelierQ and QMini is created by my friend Natasha Malykhina. I love brushes in all forms: I liked the suspension at first sight. A velvet pouch with embroidery and tassels might belong to some London adventurer of the early 20th century, but it belongs to me. Friend Dima calls him cadres priest.

Joseph jacket, H & M pants, H & M Studio jersey, Mulberry bag, Monki boots

From time to time I make forays to the dream shop on Chistoprudny Boulevard: there you can find brand new Ralph Lauren loafers or Manolo Blahnik boats. Joseph jacket just from there. I put on this carapace in minutes of spiritual lethargy: posture and metallic notes in the voice instantly appear.

The Mulberry bag is an example of the successful work of the once popular LJ community "Meet my ex", where I once sold and bought a lot of things. If the bag has a metal belt, then I'm already 50% interested in buying it. The chain at the bag is so heavy that when I put it on the table, the whole cafe turns around. Monki boots also weigh a ton, but are not felt on my feet at all. They look futuristic and old-fashioned at the same time. Here is such a controversial thing.

J.Crew shorts and loafers, vintage shirt, unnamed glasses, AÃRK Collective watches

High-waisted sandy shorts and a Hawaiian shirt are my boy scout costume. Almost like in Wes Anderson’s The Kingdom of the Full Moon, but adjusted for the tropical climate.

Seeing these pink suede loafers with velvet tassels on Etsy, I immediately hit the buy button. The husband is responsible for the purity of the suede: he has a special box with a dozen brushes, erasers, cans and sprays, to which I do not have access.

Dress and earrings from Bangkok, La Manual Alpargatera Espadrilles, nameless bracelet

Thai dress, bought without trying on a local shop. My height is slightly higher than the average Thai, so the waist of the dress is in my area of the lower ribs. However, it does not become less beautiful.

Espadrilles - officially the most comfortable summer shoes after sneakers. They can cut kilometers on vacation, not a bit tired and not wipe anything. These I bought in Barcelona.

H & M vest dress, Weekday shirt, nameless pants and sandals

In a weekday translucent shirt, I feel like a rare mineral. Neither before, nor after, did I see such bright things in this gloomy Swedish brand. I think it was a one-time provocation and the designer was immediately dismissed.

Unnamed Thai sandals were bought for 200 baht at the Ko Lanta night market. They remind someone of Raf Simons for adidas Originals, and I remind them of children's camping trips with foam scum and straps on backpacks.

Uniqlo shirt, Christian Dior vintage pants, nameless decoration, H & M shoes

I love Uniqlo, including for their Oxford shirts. My husband and I have a pair of identical ones, and sometimes I like to feel like a reduced copy of it.

Christian Dior's vintage pants bought at Etsy for some funny money. Initially, they were great, but in the atelier of my friend Inzhener Garin, the shape was perfect. Unexpectedly, they appealed to men: you should wear a pair of heels and make up your lips, you always get compliments.

The decoration for the collar of two icons and chains first saw on the Korean site. Absolutely ingenious kavaynaya trifle.

Vintage dress, unnamed earrings, Superga sneakers

The dress found on the Bangkok market Chatuchak, where surprisingly a good vintage collection. I have a weakness for pleated skirts just below the knee, in my opinion, it is very feminine. If you look closely, you can see the small letters R. woven into the print. It’s a pity that it’s not A, but nothing too.

Earrings are another thing from Bangkok. Diving into the local hellish shops with thousands of decorations, there is a chance to emerge with 2-3 treasures. The triangle is my favorite figure. And if a circle is inscribed in it, as here, then my inner mason is rejoicing.

Monki boots, Dr. boots. Martens x COMME des GARÇONS

Dr. Boots Martens - a gift from her husband. I have been wearing for several winters in mud and slush, but they seem to be immortal.

MNG shoes, Weekday shoes, Thai designers shoes

Shoes in a leopard print, with sequins and an oriental print a la Dries Van Noten always help out when you need to turn an everyday look into an elegant one.

Zara Clutch, Isaac Reina Clutch, Clutch - Gift

Clutches are gifts of talented girlfriends: the leather bar was created by the architect Nata, and the envelope from python leather was sewed by Olya himself, creating interiors for racing cars.

AÃRK Collective Tortoise Watch, Mondaine Watch

Hours of the New Zealand brand AÃRK Collective - a gift for her husband's birthday.

Casket TakeMeHome, jewelry Queensbee, AtelierQ, Jewelry Zoo, vintage

I love all kinds of boxes and caskets. Initially, she even thought about opening a store where only they would be sold. Then I decided that it would be even more fun with other household goods - this is how TakeMeHome appeared. In this gray box I keep all my collection of rings and the most favorite earrings. Nothing gathering dust and looks like in a shop window.

Book "Wes Anderson Collection", book by Charles Avery "The Islanders. An Introduction"

The desktop encyclopedia of any Wes Anderson fan with interviews, sketches and rare photos is my permanent source of inspiration.

Charles Avery is a Scottish artist who invented a whole universe, inhabited by strange creatures such as stone mice, talking grass and heads grown dogs. He wrote a book about all of this, he illustrated it himself, and then also scored a dozen two physical artifacts (including stuffed fantastic animals), designed to prove that they all actually existed.

Watch the video: Expect the Unexpected. Episode 4. Russian TV Series. Melodrama. English Subtitles. StarMediaEN (November 2024).
