In the first report of the FW 2013 season - fussing make-up artists, models in velvet dresses and glowing cubes at the presentation of LUBLU Kira Plastinina.

Kira Plastinina is a designer who can be called young, well, except perhaps because of her age. By the age of twenty she manages to build a company of frightening proportions, establish her own production in Russia and overcome the reproaches of the most ardent skeptics in her professional bankruptcy. The brand team continues to do the seemingly impossible, and this time it sews the collection even before designers all over the world did it (the first Fashion Week in New York will begin, by the way, in a week). The invitation comes to our office. We are surprised, but we go.

The presentation of the collection takes place in the Chertkov mansion. There is stucco on the walls, a crystal chandelier on the ceiling, a grand piano in the center of the hall, followed by Lana Del Rey Elisha Kostsov. Local bohemian classics. We pass into the hall, fully decorated with carved wood - this is a backstage zone. Before the presentation, an hour and a half, participants in the process feel quite relaxed. The organizers are laying out decorations, Kira shows the collection to her grandmother, the stylist is looking for a fork: "Well, seriously, can I eat already?"

We go further and see models. Some sat down in a circle and discuss who they had piled up on the exam, others rejoice at the pizza, others rummage through the phone in a queue for make-up. Jumping over the legs, we reach the main make-up artist MAC Ekaterina Ponomareva: “For the show, we tried to recreate the image of the princess. That is why the makeup of the models is like a veil, it is almost weightless: clear skin, a slight haze on the eyes, but we focused on the lips, using saturated lipstick wine shade that blends perfectly with the primary colors of the collection. " In the nobility of the image we are convinced half an hour later. Then on an improvised catwalk, girls appear in velvet dresses, covered with belts of stones or flying around a dozen folds.

Models appear on the catwalk fives. In the second - a lace suit, pixel sundress and dresses from jacquard. If we are a little tired from the dark with roses after the winter season (thanks to Dolce & Gabbana), then white looks nice. The next five are evening dresses. Harvested to the floor a few adult models, lightweight look mystical. Especially pleasing is the cosmic with a cape stretching into a train and chiffon with velvet inserts.

Kira explains what is happening on the podium: "We found very beautiful and self-sufficient fabrics: velvet, jacquard, lace, lace - they already inspired me to think that I want to make a collection about a girl-princess who came to her wardrobe and trying on her outfits. " Princess? By the end of the show willingly believe.
