FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell stories related to them. This week, our heroine is the co-founder of the barber shop Cut Cut Cut and the author of the Photosynthez project, Katya Lukovnikova.
In her youth, mother was a rare beauty and a terrible fashionista. A vivid memory from childhood: we do not go to bed, because Yudashkin is shown on TV, and we record it on tape. Then my mother reviewed and sketched sketches into the album to later sew clothes for herself and her friends. There was no Internet, and there was nothing to buy and nowhere.
I love to watch albums with photos from the 90s, I am inspired by her images. Mom always supported my search for style: at the age of twelve, when I adored listening to Decl, she bought me wide pants, and together we drew a pair of jeans with bleach, writing “HIP-HOP” on the back. Then my friends and I became rockers, pinned pins everywhere and for some reason wore fingerless gloves. Next was filfak, passion for cinema, art, literature - all this left its mark on the character and, accordingly, on the aesthetic reference points.
I usually don’t dress up, I like simplicity - I am a hairdresser by profession, and comfortable clothes and shoes are very important in this matter. I usually buy everyday things on Uniqlo or on the Internet; I usually dig out images for events in second-hand shops. My hobby is to dress cool and spend little.

I found the skirt of my favorite length and fit on ASOS along with the shoes - they are simple and cool.

A year ago, in the early spring, my friend and I went to St. Petersburg, and I finally got to the "Fissuring" - a huge flea market. It was terribly cold, and I decided to buy a fur coat to keep warm. For this Cheburashka I gave 200 rubles, put it on top of my coat and went into a stall for tea. The seller, a man of about forty, looked at me and asked: "Do you work here?"

Somehow my friend and I went to the UK Style for things to shoot, she points at the jeans on the rail and says “terrible”, and I answer her: “I just have those.” Uniqlo x Lemaire collection items are my favorites. Both quality and design are great. Boats caught on Avito for some a thousand rubles. I sold them a young mother with the words: "I did not have time to vilify, but now I have nowhere to go." Well, I, in general, also have nowhere, but I still love them.
