There is still not so much systematized, verified, and most importantly, understandable information about bipolar disorder in Russian. Fortunately, the situation is beginning to improve - and here is another useful educational initiative to this effect. Maria Pushkina, a journalist, founder of the Bipolar Association, and author of a book on the life of people with a bar, of the same name, announced a fundraiser for the publication of a self-help manual, based on the recommendations of psychiatrists and personal experience of the association members. The illustrations for the book were drawn by Alexander Skochilenko, who five years ago published an autobiographical comic about depression. The main emphasis in the new book will be on the fact that "what everyone can do to smooth out mood swings and maintain balance."
