In April, adidas announced that it would completely abandon plastic bags, replacing them with paper ones, and now there is information about the long-awaited production of cross-country sneakers, created in conjunction with the public organization Parley for the Oceans, which advocates the protection of the oceans. Most notable in the new model is the upper part, made of recycled plastic, which was assembled in the coastal zones of the Maldives, as well as from illegal deep-water gill nets. In the second half of 2016, recycled plastic will also be integrated into one of adidas key shoe lines.

Sneakers adidas x Parley released a limited edition - only 50 pairs - and they can not be bought, but you can win the contest on Instagram.
