Director Agnès Warda on the cover of the autumn release of The Gentlewoman

The Gentlewoman magazine presented the cover of its autumn-winter edition, the heroine of which was the 90-year-old French director and legend of Agnes Warda ("Cleo from 5 to 7", "Creations", "Kung Fu Master"). During her career, she shot several dozens of films (including full-length and short films, as well as documentaries) and was awarded many prestigious film awards, including the honorary Oscar “For Outstanding Merit in Cinema”, awarded to her in 2017.

The cover was made by fashion photographer Alasder McLellan, and an interview for a cover story was taken by famous journalist and writer Holly Brubach. The 18th edition of The Gentlewoman appears on the shelves on September 13.
