30 bright colored nail polishes
In the summer there is a desire time and effort to experiment with cosmetics, and the number of events without a dress code only contributes to this. The easiest and non-binding way to focus on a familiar look is to paint your nails with bright varnish. In case the existing vials do not inspire, we chose as many as 30 worthy varnishes of all colors of the rainbow, which can be bought without any fear.
Wine
Zoya PixieDust Arianna, butter london La moss Orly Bus Stop Crimson
Wine - a classic shade for a manicure, and for 2015 it was also indulged by Pantone. You can play along and dilute it with not only a shelf with lacquers (all of a sudden you don’t have a cherry bubble), but also a cosmetic bag as a whole: according to the good tradition, Sephora allows you to dive into the sea of cosmetics of a wine shade - from lipstick to shadows. However, when choosing a varnish, you can already break your head: the butter LONDON, Orly and the elegant Zoya marked by us are just one of hundreds of worthy ones.
Yellow
Formula X Electrics Turbo, OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana, Revlon parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel Sunlit Grass
Yellow varnishes no-no and even appear in limited collections of expensive brands (recall the almost sunken Chanel Mimosa, Dior Acapulco and the very recent Sunwashed of the same Dior). The problem with most of them is that they are applied not only unevenly, but also loosely - and if with any other shade jellyiness can pass for a chip, then translucent yellow enamel most likely causes physiological associations. If you want to buy a thick yellow lacquer, there are at least three win-win options: the Canary OPI blog All Lacquered Up calls one of the best, and Revlon and Formula X have interesting special effects besides density, pleasant fragrance and a rough sand coating.
Whites
Essie Blanc, OPI Alpine snow, Illamasqua Scorch
White is an even more complex color for manicure than yellow. This is not a combination of skin tone or the shape of nails (all this is a matter of personal aesthetic preferences, not standards), but as varnishes: most often they are unevenly distributed (“striped” if you use jargon of the venerable community nail_ru) and do not give a dense cover even in three layers. Essie, OPI and Illamasqua do not sin with all this and look equally good, so you can safely choose any.
Mint
Nars Thatsos Anna Sui Chocolate Chip Nail Mint Green, Deborah lippmann Flowers in her hair
Pastel green-blue was a general lacquer obsession a couple of years ago. During this time, everyone had time to take a breath, and it’s good: to such fresh, but at the same time soothing shades, the hand itself stretches in summer. If you get bored with the usual look, you can pay attention to the Anna Sui mottled “chocolate” lacquer or paint an elegant pattern on your nails, like what Sophie Theallet showed on the show.
Orange
Lancôme vernis in Love Corail Néo Néon, L'Oréal Paris Orange After Pa, Maybelline New York Color Show 341 Orange Attack
On the last spring-summer shows there were a lot of orange manicures: they were combined with minimal stickers, clothes almost in tone and entered into simple geometric neyl-art. The cheerfulness of the shade has long been equated to the general summer, so that the suitable lacquer can be searched in the seasonal collections, and in the permanent ones - orange is fairly conventional for this (in order to confirm this, the varnishes from brands found in any cosmetic network were specially chosen).
Metallic
Gucci Bold High-Gloss Lacquer Iconic Gold, Jinsoon Soiree Glitter Nail Polish, Deborah lippmann Gold digger
We cheated a little bit, highlighting the "metallic" in a separate category, but to ignore them would be a more gross mistake. Without a luxurious mica or golden bottle, there will hardly be at least one collection, but we are a little jealous of those who have not yet discovered this category. There is something to choose from: pompous glitter can be found in Deborah Lippmann, slightly thinner in JINsoon, and a discreet and versatile option in Gucci, for example.
Pink
Kure bazaarFabulous, China glaze Lacquer in Glow With the Flow, Yves saint laurent Beaute La Laque 8 Fuchsia Cubiste
There is nothing bad in pink, so we offer to abstract from all social constructions and choose a beautiful pastel or bright shade. You can even navigate the name (it’s hard to feel bad with "Fabulous" on the nails), even the beauty of the bottle (YSL will give odds to many), but better - on the quality of the brush and the flexibility of the lacquer itself. Specific China Glaze, Kure Bazaar and YSL perform well on all fronts.
Green
JINsoon x Tila March Tila, Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer Sally, Models Own Mirrorball Collection Dancing queen
We do not want to once again broadcast the calming effect of green, but we will not argue with the fact that a beautiful lacquer will never spoil the mood. Green is not such a popular shade among mass brands, so it’s better to look for it in advanced or professional ones. JINsoon recently came out with a deep green cream, Models Own has a carnival glitter top, and the scarab Marc Jacobs should take a closer look at those who can't stand too bright manicure.
Blue
Dolce & Gabbana Light blue Nails inc. Gel Effect Baker Street, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Tidal wave
Varnish of deep blue color can become an accessory that dilutes the forced brevity of wardrobe on vacation, but even if you are not going to climb mountains or arrange sea swims, paying attention to a thriving niche of persistent gel polishes will not hurt. Electrically blue gel polishes have Nails inc. and Sally Hansen, while Dolce & Gabbana has a “simple”, but azure that deserves no less attention in the summer collection.
Purple
Rimmel salon pro Ultra Violet, Mavala Chili & Spice Samarkand, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Belladonna
Hue, without which the rainbow manicure would be incomplete. Deep purple, which is associated with the fabulous brands Urban Decay and Lime Crime, may be too heavy for summer looks, so we would pay attention to lighter tones. Dusty lavender was found in Rimmel and Mavala, and poison-purple - in OCC (by the way, the brand has lipstick of the same shade).
