What you need to know about REN cosmetics returned to Russia

Rob Calcraft was thinking of opening up organic KFC, but instead he started making cosmetics. Cooperating with his friend and long-time advertising colleague Anthony Buck and cosmetologist Colette Haydon in 2000, he founded the brand of bio-cosmetics REN. According to Buck, his wife’s pregnancy prompted him: she began to experience skin problems, and in the plans of her friends it was just the creation of an honest, accessible and useful brand. The embodiment of this was REN with its motto "Efficiency, purity, pleasure" and the promise to produce high-quality cosmetics without artificial ingredients.

Fifteen years ago it was even harder than it is now. When asked which components do not use REN, the founders give a long list of names, of which a dozen are understandable to the average person, for example mineral oil, synthetic dyes, parabens, animal products, silicones (see the full list on the website). The status of the "bio" brand also supports in a different way: it leads to hygienic packages with a pump that allows not only not to get into the cream with fingers, but also to reduce the amount of preservatives, and gives at least 2.5% of the profits to charity.

The brand produces products for different needs and skin types. So, only in the cleansing section - 17 products for dry, sensitive, prone to inflammation and oily skin. In addition to the usual and understandable things such as tonic, BB-cream and gel for washing, REN has rarities like a quick washable gel mask, which acts in one minute and promises to turn into a princess. More often praise the nameless "acid" line of the brand with an orange ribbon on the package. However, it is better to postpone a sample of even a night concentrate for skin renewal until autumn, when the sun will become less scorching. But the unconditional bestseller, shower gel with Moroccan rose oil, you can buy at any time, even those who are afraid of changing care.

Now REN is on sale in the Doctor Stoletov network (including in the online pharmacy). Prices are lower than expected: anti-aging cream costs 3150 rubles, serum for sensitive skin - 2500, cream for eyelids - 1400, and lip balm - 600.
