Cryptocurrency Girl Group Appears in Japan

Bitcoin fever was supposed to end with this: in Japan, a thematic female J-pop band dedicated to cryptocurrencies appeared. The team of Kasotsuka Shojo ("Kasotsuka Shojo" - literally "Virtual Currency Girls") consists of eight participants, each of whom wears a colored mask and represents one or another cryptocurrency, including ethereum, bitcoin, cardano and ripple.

The first and so far the only song of the group, whose name translates as "Moon, Cryptocurrency and Me", is also dedicated to digital assets and blockchains. “We want to carry the idea that virtual currencies are not just a tool of speculation, but an excellent technology that will change the future,” one of the band members, Raru Narusese, quotes a press release.
