The most anticipated shows of Aurora Fashion Week
The main and loudest shows of Aurora Fashion Week begin on May 26 (Thursday) at CEH MANEJ. In general, more than 15 impressions are made, and these are the most popular fashion bloggers:

Among the most anticipated is the show of Alexander Arngoldt, which I missed in Moscow. Arngoldt is a wonderful subtle artist, I really like his aesthetics, but I have never attended his shows. I think in the atmosphere of Peter his dresses will be very organic! And, of course, I cannot fail to mention my pet Biryukov - I, on the contrary, attended it several times, and even managed to get acquainted with his new autumn-winter collection, but, it seems to me, to see Biryukov’s show "in his field" - this is special pleasure.

When I learned that AFW would please us with a string of designers with quite loud names, such as: ALEXANDER TEREKHOV ATELIER MOSCOW, A LA RUSSE, C'N'C, NDOMBI STELLA, IGOR GULYAEV, etc., I was very happy. Moreover, my joy knew no limits when in the program of shows I found the name MARK FAST!
Brilliant designer of Canadian origin, who found himself in the UK, decided to please his visit! Year after year, a graduate of Central Saint Martin's Academy embodies his ideas in London, presenting his collection at the London FW. Dresses from MARK FAST dwell not only in the closets of celebrities and fashionable it-girls, but also on the pages of the most famous glossy magazines. In 2009, the designer showed his first collection and immediately aroused great interest among Western fashion critics. And this is not surprising: Mark Fast does not sew his dresses, but knits them from viscose, angora, wool. His last collection was struck by a combination of colors and knitted elements along with a fringe.

The most anticipated show in the third season of AFW for me, perhaps, is the show of the Mark Fast collection. A talented Canadian designer, a graduate of Saint Martins, and just a brave guy, was able to return knitted things to the status of ultrafashionable and give them a new sexuality. "Knitwear has a close, almost intimate connection with the one who wears it. Much more closely than the stitched clothes. Because it falls on the body like a second skin, repeating its shape." She would love to try on a pair of his dresses.

I won’t be original: most of all, like many, I’m sure I’m waiting for the show of Alexander Terekhov. I, perhaps, do not sympathize with any Russian designer. There are always some "but", here - solid raptures. It will be very curious to see the new collection with your own eyes. The only thing - I'm afraid of being biased ...)

Just a month ago, I was filled with a sense of undisguised envy of fashion industry figures based in Moscow. As part of the Fashion Week underway, Alexander Terekhov presented his latest collection. And then, I could only hope that AFW will become the next platform for its display. Why precisely Terekhov? If we talk about his work, then here either like it or not. Extreme does not exist. The spring / summer 2011 collection has turned all my Soviet ideas about our country as unable to produce a worthwhile and interesting product. Alexander, in my opinion, is one of the brightest, most promising and talented designers in Russia. I like that he does not change his special style. His clothes, if I may say so, are not classic things, each has a character, charisma.

Among the submitted designers at AFW, I will definitely try to visit two shows: Alexander Terekhov and Lena Vasilyeva. Their style and mood are closest to me, something like "beauty in simplicity." I look forward to shows and I am sure that they and the organization of AFW will be on top.
