Best of the year: Olga Karput advises a photo book
2015 IS FITTING THE END. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the year turned out to be saturated, including culturally. To dot the “and” and make sure that nothing important had passed by, we asked experts in various fields to tell about the brightest books, films, albums and other cultural events. In the fourth issue, the owner of the Kuznetsky Most 20 store, Olga Karput, talks about Gosha Rubchinsky's album Youth Hotel.

If we talk about the results of the year from the point of view of books, magazines or albums in the field of fashion and art, then I would definitely mark the new book that our friend and one of the favorite designers of Gosha Rubchinsky - Youth Hotel released. Inside are real stories about young Russian guys. Schoolchildren with their knees knocked down, gray high-rise buildings, Soviet mosaics — all this became close and understandable admirers of Rubchinsky not only in Russia, but also abroad. Gosha, like no one else, manages to sensitively convey the spirit of the time and even predict it.
The book "Youth Hotel" was released in limited edition with the vinyl "Sport" Buttechno - the talented Pasha Milyakova, author of the soundtracks for the shows of Gosha and his friend. The kit was sold only in a few stores around the world and was sold out in a matter of hours. By the way, this is not the first work of Gosha as a photographer: "Youth Hotel" stood at my home on the shelf next to Rubchinsky's previous albums - "Transformation" and "Crimea / Kids".
