Exfoliate and moisturize: 15 toners, toners and lotions that work

Tonics can be considered an extra part of care., pleasant and expensive little water, without which you can easily do. At the same time, cosmetologists and experts often recommend introducing a tonic into permanent care: the correct means normalize the pH of the skin after washing and serve as an additional step of either cleansing or moisturizing. We have already shown 8 proven tonics for permanent care - and today Moore Sobolev has listed the main types of such products and found products that will not let you down.

Classic Tonics

Typically, a tonic, or tonic lotion, is a liquid consisting of water and moisturizing agents. Depending on the purpose of the skin type, it can be equipped with soothing ingredients. Tea tree oil and sometimes alcohol are usually responsible for the first effect (an ingredient about which experts still have not come to a common opinion). To moisturize, usually add extracts of calendula, chamomile, rose or cornflower and time-tested glycerin and panthenol.

Spray mists

Means in the spray format can usually be applied not only after washing, but also during the day, and even on makeup as a fixative. A good mist should be able to soothe the skin, even out the tone of the face and balance the pH level. Thermal water is not capable of what the mist does - it is necessary to blot it after application so that the skin does not dry out (even instructions for applying are written about it), or if you use thermal water during washing, immediately apply care to wet skin. Mist also thanks to moisturizing ingredients allows you to refresh your face at any time of the day without the risk of dry skin.

Asian toners

Toners, lotions, softners and essences - these thick products that make Asian brands (and European in their likeness) have several names. As a rule, Asian toner is a light moisturizer that is used after or instead of the usual tonic and becomes the first stage of moisturizing - up to serum. However, some Asian brands (especially Korean ones) call lotions and emulsions products with which to complete the treatment procedure. It is important not to get confused - and this happens with the Koreans themselves.

Exfoliating tonics

Such means, as a rule, contain fruit acids (AHA) in one or another concentration, and the mode of their dosing is selected individually. Sometimes BHA in the form of salicylic acid is also put in there: such agents simultaneously exfoliate the skin and clean the pores (BHA penetrate deeper into the skin than ANA working on the surface). Usually acid tonic used every other day or a couple of times a week, but there are gentle options that can be applied without fear every day.
