How colored tights got back into fashion

In 2015, we have already told you what a journey was made by bright tights from the 1960s to the present; in 2018, the "pantyhose boom" is still not slowing down. But if several years ago, multicolored options were considered the prerogative of the heroine of the Gossip Girl series Blair Waldorf, and bare legs in inclement weather - an attribute of power dressing (as an example, The Guardian cites Anna Wintour, who neglects the warm layer even in ten-degree frost), now designers finally relaxed and offered to wear tights, not only for comfort, but also for beauty.

So, a pair with a blurry pattern in the spirit of Pucci could be seen in the collection of the Danish brand Saks Potts, leopard - in Tom Ford (the most courageous designer suggests wearing them with an animalistic total bow) and in a cage - in Versace. And with dense tights of rich colors, like those we saw on Jane Birkin in "Photo Enlargement", added to the collections of Dolce & Gabbana, Kenzo, Haider Ackermann, Balenciaga and Gucci. Simon Port Jacmus and at all organically inscribed the sky-blue wool tights in the wardrobe of his heroines, those who love Dolce Vita. Two more couples worthy of attention: Moschino tights, as if painted with a black lightweight marker Jeremy Scott, as well as a model with a signature moon print Marine Serre, who managed to visit countless filming and clips - even in the teaser of Svetlana Loboda.

What to wear

We suggest not to deny yourself anything: bright tights will be equally interesting to look and complete with a black total bow, like in Balenciaga, and with monochrome looks, both here and here. True, we still do not recommend covering shoes with pantyhose - for security reasons. Another win-win option: pick up pantyhose to match with one of the items of clothing - for example, a coat. And if you are still afraid of loud stylistic statements, then try a combo with pants or a long dress. No less successful, such tights look with a neutral skirt, and if the legs are still cold, you can add a warm sock to a pair of tights. Models with logos - another sign of 2018, flirting with zero and outdated notions of "bad taste."
