Stylist Lera Aguzarova about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week our heroine is stylist Lera Aguzarova.

In connection with the work, I spend a lot of time in the shops from the Central Department Store to second-hand, so shopping for myself neither strength nor desire remains. I buy clothes mostly online or by chance, collecting another shoot. I rarely return it back, because I can, if anything, change it myself or adjust it to myself. I always instantly understand whether I need a thing or not.

I like flea markets, second-hand and vintage shops, but I never look for something specific there. In general, I have a calm attitude to clothes, I love to give it, if I know that this or that thing is better suited to someone of my friends. The attitude towards shoes is more reverent: a beautiful pair makes me delighted and admired. Actually, I collect wardrobe: first shoes, and then clothes to them. I can not say that my style was formed. I understand that I change all the time.

In high school, I loved the Prodigy group and wore acid-colored T-shirts, denim overalls, and huge platforms. Then there was a time of total enthusiasm for heavy music, and for several years I dressed exclusively in black, dyed my hair in black and loved heavy shoes. There was a time when 99% of my wardrobe consisted of vintage clothing, predominantly from the 1980s, and things of my own design, while modern models seemed too new and boring. Then I worked in a vintage shop and could change clothes five times before going to work — I went there like for a holiday.

There was a moment when I went crazy about a floral print and dressed up in a “bed suit” every day — even my winter coat had a huge rose. There was a period when I realized that my wardrobe consists of fourteen white T-shirts and five pairs of dark gray jeans. Now, I often stylize men's footage, probably, that's why I got men's clothes and trouser suits. What my wardrobe is made of now is, it seems to me, the echoes of all those moments of history. The only thing that always was and is - T-shirts of favorite groups.

I bought boots by accident: I went to the mall, hiding from the rain, saw them and took it without hesitation. My favorite sweatshirt mascot: I wear it on difficult shots, it brings good luck. Pants bought back in 2009, when she worked at the university and it seemed to me that I needed to look more serious; put them on with high-heeled shoes and a blouse. They hung in the closet for a long time, now I carry it again. I love the sneakers with their aerodynamic design and the combination of orange and gray.

Costume bought when looking for things to shoot. In general, I like trouser suits: it’s convenient and you don’t need to invent combinations - I’m getting tired of it on the set. There is a feeling that if a truck passes over these boots, nothing will happen to them. I gave them a stretch, and the master said that while stretching, he broke a pair of pads. A longtime love for the group Mayhem: I listened to them when I was sixteen, and now I can go to their concert with pleasure.

Sneakers bought at a flea market in the suburbs; on the insoles in gold letters printed "MOSCOW" - they still had such a cardboard Soviet price tag. I was lucky that they were exactly my size, and I paid 30 rubles.

At first I bought this costume in my size, but I realized that the jacket was short, and I changed it to a larger size. Flip-flops from "Tsvetnoy" - I sewed to them metal fittings, which for a long time I lay. Now they are ringing when walking.

I remade the pants from the suit on myself, lacing them with silk lampas and changing the fit. Muely bought in the winter as slippers, but it seems that I will wear them not only at home. I sewed stripes with daffodils myself - so much more fun.

For the first time I saw this dress in instagram. Then it turned out that it was H & M, but in Moscow it was not sold either online or in stores — then my Kiev girlfriend brought it to me from New York. It is from the nicest fabric that does not crumple. T-shirt Burzum from the rock shop "At Uncle Bory". Boots, despite their dimensions, are very comfortable. I have been looking for my size online for a long time and, while I found it, I discovered a lot of new stores for myself that I did not know about.

This dress makes some incredible impression on others. I think it is because of the color and the frills. Sneakers - for all occasions, I think they all have. This model has a slightly thicker sole than usual, so it is doubly comfortable to wear.
