Before being born in Lithuania, Marilyn Perley got into the list of the most promising newcomers of SS 2012, according to New York Magazine, she had a three-year modeling experience. In 2008, fourteen-year-old Marilyn signed a contract with Ema, but for two years her work was limited to rare shots and test shots. In 2010, she attached herself to Marilyn in New York and began to devote more time to casting. Perley shot for Joey and Tush magazines, after which Models.com was named her Model of the Week.
This year, seventeen-year-old Marilyn made her debut on the catwalk as part of the Calvin Klein cruise collection show in New York. After appearing on the cover of the Finnish magazine Trendi, the model was shot for the Prada Resort 2012 campaign, which gave rise to the careers of Megan Will and Sojourner Morrell, about which Look At Me recently wrote. Appearing in Dazed & Confused and Open Lab magazines in September of this year, Marilyn went to the castings for spring-summer New York shows. There the girl proved that she deservedly got on the list of New York Magazine: Perley did 12 shows, including DKNY, Calvin Klein, Y-3, Jill Stuart, Theyskens Theory and Ports 1961. Having passed the Fashion Week in London and Milan, the model went to Paris. Marilyn again expected success: she walked on A.F. Vandevorst, Rochas, Cacharel, Chanel and other shows. After the Fashion Week, Perley began working with more serious editions: Lula, German and Russian Vogue. Most recently, she starred for the catalog of the pre-collection Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti collection and worked again with Chanel as part of a cruise show in Seoul.
