Glitter and succulents: The most interesting makeup from fashion weeks
The main fashion week of the season autumn-winter - 2019 just ended - the shows pleased the inclusion, and on some podiums it was possible to peep really bold decisions. We show the most interesting, relaxed and cool makeup, which could be seen in New York, Milan, London and Paris.

New York
Tom ford
At the Tom Ford show, Diane Kendall painted immodest, shining Smokey on the faces of the models - quite in the spirit of inducing sexuality, which the brand continues to profess. The secret of makeup is not only in iridescent shadows: to make the color around the eyes look denser, the makeup artist recommends paying attention to eyeliner along the upper and lower ciliary edges.
Adema
There was practically no makeup on the faces of the models who walked along the Adeam catwalk - only concealer, tonal fluid and lip balm. Here accents solve everything: pearls in the inner corners of the eyes rhyme with applications on the nails. Beautiful, impressive and really easy to repeat at home.
Christian siriano
We have seen rhinestones on the face several times already, but they are usually used in eye makeup. And for displaying Christian Siriano, makeup artist Erin Parsons chose a simple chaotic pattern of crystals all over her face. Chains in smooth hair gathered in a low tail look much more interesting - haircut, invented by Justine Mardjan, is great with makeup and looks at least unexpected.
Eckhaus Latta
This year there are a lot of asymmetrical and deliberately careless make-ups on the catwalks - we offer, for example, to admire such "masks" that Isamaya Ffrench came up with for showing Eckhaus Latta, inspired by the patterns on her clothes. A makeup artist sprayed pigments on models' faces with an airbrush — this is another boring way to use a professional tool.
Paris
Giambattista valli
This year's false eyelashes flashed on several catwalks, but perhaps the best makeup came with them at the Giambattista Valli show. Val Garland stuck her eyelashes, painted with silver paint, on the lower eyelids of the models; Also in the make-up appear reflective paper and a white liner above the fold of the upper eyelid.
Valentino
Bleached eyebrows surprise few people in 2019, which is why so cool solutions for make-up for which they lighten up are striking. Pat McGrath added bright shadows on her eyelids to her light, almost invisible brows: red, pink, purple and green.
Dries van noten
Glitter on the catwalks is not less. He was put on all mobile eyelids, and at the Rodarte show - on top of pink pigment in the eyes and lips. At the same time, sparkling accents, as if drawn on a ruler, obviously go away: Peter Phillips combines canonical "makeup without makeup" with a small amount of glitter, randomly scattered around the eyes.
Stella mccartney
Models at the Stella McCartney show came out with a minimum of make-up, and tiny accented tattoos were applied as accents on the exposed areas of the body. McCartney is a long-time supporter of an eco-friendly approach to the production of clothing, so her team used fairly straightforward slogans for tattoo design: Vegan, Regenerate, Earth Day Every Day, and others.
Milan
Gucci
In the make-up at the shows of Gucci under Alessandro Michele, it seems, materials for plastic make-up are used more often than cosmetics. This year, everyone is enthralled by golden ears, but the image with voluminous artificial tears looks the most impressive.
Iceberg
Daniel Salström, makeup artist and editor-in-chief of Dazed Beauty, answered for the make-up at the Iceberg show. Smokey-aiz saturated shades with a sloppy contour are combined with very clear neon arrows drawn from the nose bridge over the border of the eyebrow - they amaze a virtuoso performance and game with shades and shapes.
Gcds
At the GCDS show, the make-up was, though punk, but quite familiar in the context of fashion podiums, but it was really cool to experiment with accessories. Some models were stuck on one flower one by one, and in one of them a whole bunch of artificial plants were placed in the neckline of a dress on the stomach.
Byblos
"Natural" special effects in make-up are not limited to skin, which looks like you came out of the gym. At the show Byblos you can peep here such an ironic make-up with faded eyelashes and hair. In this case, to emphasize the eyes, a radiant texture was used, but something similar could be achieved with the help of white mascara applied in several layers.
London
Asai
The most amazing part of the image on the Asai show was not makeup (hello, graphic arrows), but a manicure - it was designed by unusual nail art specialist Sylvie Macmillan. The fingers of the models were painted white, and the texture resembles clay - this manicure with body art was dubbed "ceramist nails", "potter's nails". A more gentle version from the same show - fingers and nails covered with golden flakes.
Ashish
The makeup for Ashish was traditionally invented by Isamaya Ffrench, and again there was some glitter. The makeup artist scattered them literally all over her face: someone had eyes and lips glittering, and someone had glitter on her nose. As we said above, the easiest way to wear a shining accent may become the most fashionable one.
Renata brenha
Another facet image flirting with closeness to nature. At the Renata Brenha show, several models came out with real wigs from living succulents - not very careful with plants, but it looks funny.
Vivienne westwood
Hair stylist Gary Gill, inventing haircuts for Vivienne Westwood, was inspired by the icon of the style itself. But Isamaya Ffrench again did not limit herself to a couple of techniques: she covered the faces of some models with metal pigments for a third, again not worrying too much about the clear contour, but for others she created amazing masks from a material resembling either plastic or mucus.
