Bookmarks: Progressive and beautiful zing Girlgaze

English photographer, actress and TV presenter Amanda De Cadene created the project #girlgaze more than a year ago: she wanted to deal with an imbalance in the film industry and photography, where women are still a lot less than men. It all started with a page on instagram where women photographers post their work - over time, the project grew, and some of the works were exhibited in the gallery, and their authors began working with well-known brands.

In addition to De Cadene, the project is supervised by director Sam Taylor-Johnson, photographer Inez van Lamsweerde, model Amber Valletta, photojournalist Linsey Addario and artist and photographer Collier Schorr, and #girlgaze managed to become a whole media company. Recently, an album with selected works of the project was released, and now the eponymous zine was released, on which artists and photographers worked, identifying themselves as women. The heroine of the first issue was Willow Smith, in addition to it, you can find shootings, essays and discussions on important topics - you can see them all on the site.
