8 new gender neutral brands of clothes and shoes

Agents' things and male sexuality are the hottest topics in fashion today and new men's collections confirm this. At fashion weeks in Milan and London, men-models are entirely short shorts, opening their legs entirely; collarbone décolleté; skirts and lace, transparent and pink things, Lurex, tops in obtyag and women's scarves on their heads. As part of Pitti Uomo in Florence, Arthur Arbesser and Pucci arrange gender neutral presentations, while Moschino offers men to wear microtrucks, transparent overalls and baroque costumes paired with pink boa.

The 88th Pitti Uomo exhibition this time developed the theme of gender fashion, opening a new Open pavilion dedicated to unisex brands. As we know, the Florentine trade show sets the trend in men's fashion a year in advance, which means that the trend for gender will only grow in the future. We went around Pitti Uomo in search of new and promising unisex brands and talk about the best.

Solovière

Alexia Aubert is behind the young Solovière brand of shoes, before that she worked and gained experience with brands such as Christian Louboutin, Pierre Hardy, Oscar de la Renta and Balmain. At Pitti Uomo, her personal brand presented the third collection. In it you can find soft calfskin shoes of neutral and bright colors, sleepers with contrasting noses, as well as a hit brand - shoes, resembling dance shoes. The latter are a cross between oxfords and loafers.

Alexia believes that classic and simplicity is the key to Solovière's success, and notes that for a successful demi-season shoe there is enough leather with a nice color, a flat sole and lacing. All brand shoes are made from Italian leather in Tuscany in a small family business. The designer says that in the shoe business there are no strict rules regarding size: they are more often visited by women with larger legs than men. From here - a wide dimensional grid for all unisexual shoes: from 35 to 45.

Yii

Young Malaysian designer YII can boast of having become the most prominent in the Fashion Buzz corner, where editors of L'Uomo Vogue and GQ Italia magazines choose promising brands. At first glance, the designer’s collections from Kuala Lumpur are devoted to infantilism and spontaneity. He really reflects on how the world looks through the eyes of a child, and believes that children look at things more boldly than adults, because they lack stereotypical thinking. On the other hand, the YII collection is a platform for talking about important social issues. So, his latest collection Spring-Summer 2016 is devoted to the problem of child abuse and child abuse. For example, huge volumetric monsters and phallic forms of appliqué on sweaters symbolize the danger that its children represent. It should be noted that the bold things of YII are suitable for all who are given a wide view by wearing transparent crop tops and voluminous sweaters with applications in the form of popcorn.

Descente Allterrain

Descente Allterrain - Japanese sports brand that combines fashion and high technology. Their main product is “smart” functional raincoats and jackets made of patented materials: they repel water, let in air, look futuristic and light to the touch. Particularly noteworthy are the details of Descente Allterrain jackets: for example, a hidden hood opens with one click, like a parachute. All things are presented in pure colors: pastel-blue, neon-lemon, dark blue and white.

EDITHMARCEL

The most impressive mark from the Open Pavilion is young designers from Venice Andrea Masato and Gianluca Ferracine. EDITHMARCEL presented their first collection at the Pitti Uomo exhibition. It includes unisex items for those to whom aesthetics and design are much more important than gender orientation. At EDITHMARCEL, you can find men's pleated shirts and shorts, unisexual coats and trousers, as well as tops with bows and knitted collars. The most noticeable thing about the brand is the interpretation of the famous Chanel jacket. Having preserved only recognizable outlines, the designers turned it into a minimalist unisexual jacket of pure color, which can be worn even with wide trousers, even with a skirt.

MULO

MULO is a British brand that has entrusted a mission to reinvent comfortable urban shoes for both sexes. Adhering to the principle of "easier - better," the brand came up with unisexual slippers, which are a cross between light espadrilles, slip-ons and oxfords. A friend of the founders of the brand, who worked for a long time as a designer in adidas Y-3 by Yohji Yamamoto, helped develop the brand model. Hence, MULO has orthopedic insoles borrowed from sneakers. The brand produces all slippers in Portugal, preferring materials both in neutral colors and with bright prints.

The main thing that distinguishes Maison Marcy from many other pajama brands is the presence of a sense of humor. The French decorate pajamas with funny prints based on Roy Lichtenstein’s pop art work, unfinished fruits or large peas, and they depicted their logo in the shape of a crown of crossed letters M.
