Yesterday: Favorite makeup from clips zero

Two thousandth gave us Big names, many of which are remembered, if not by talent, then by appearance. We decided to figure out what was happening and remember our favorite images from the clips of the stars of that time.
Britney Spears "Stronger"
The song entered the second studio album of Britney, in which the personal growth of the pop princess is vividly noticeable. Now this is no longer a naive schoolgirl who dies from loneliness and cannot exist without her boyfriend, but a mature woman who declares a diametrically opposite thing: my loneliness does not kill me anymore and whatever. The black uniforms embroidered with sequins and tinsel replaced the school uniform, while the tails and natural makeup were replaced with Smokey Aiz with false eyelashes and disheveled platinum curls. The video is largely characteristic of its time - a lot of bare belly and girl suffering in the rain.
Christina Aguilera, Lil 'Kim, Mya, Pink "Lady Marmelade"
Perhaps one of the most outspoken clips that showed MTV to zero. The song was included in the soundtrack to the movie "Moulin Rouge!", So it is easy to guess who will be portrayed in the clip Christina, Pink, Lil Kim and Maya. Red sofas, corsets, a lot of lace, organza, stockings and satin linen, hats - the girls, of course, a bit overdone with the aesthetics of the cabaret, but not to mention this riot of colors will be unfair. All the divas have red or dark lipstick, thin eyebrows and a strong emphasis on the eyes, while Christina, the main vocal strength of the team, also added pink shadows for about half of her face and snow on her eyelashes.
Mariah Carey & Busta Rhymes "I Know What You Want"
One of the first ballads about gangster love that sounded from every radio and television. Basta Rimes strokes his tattoos and rapes about loving a girl, and Mariah sings a chorus with his signature voice that has sat down in the head of most teenagers who are zero and probably will never come out of it. All this takes place against the backdrop of dramatic romantic events. Mariah here is trying on the role of a typical girl rapper, namely: on her a gold swimsuit without cups, denim hotpants, a short jacket and a gold chain. In the make-up trend is observed, characteristic of many R & B performers - makeup in warm colors and with the indispensable mother-of-pearl.
Christina Aguilera "Сandyman"
By the middle of the 2000s, Christina Aguilera withdrew from her image a shaggy girl with a tan and a playful piercing in her nose and turned out to be a real Hollywood lady. In the video for the song "Candyman", Aguilera turns to retro-aesthetics, sings the song to sailors in a beautiful white suit of the ship's captain, cosplay a worker from the poster "We Can Do It!" wardrobe - right, in crop-top. She will use red lipstick, arrows and light curls more than once and will do it right - that’s all for her
Good Charlotte "I Just Wanna Live"
Pop-punk was performed by dark-haired guys of different degrees of tattooing, with eyes over - they continued the good tradition begun in the 80s by Robert Smith. But if before this appearance was a sign of a melancholic nature, now it reflected a kind of rebellion of youth. Video Good Charlotte tells about how the guys are tired of fame, because most recently they rode a skateboard and played in a folder garage in their home state of Maryland and no one got them. And now they have to go to parties, beat guitars on their heads and that's it. As a protest, the guys dressed up in costumes of vegetables and terrorize the music community.
Gwen Stefani "What You Waiting For?"
Gwen left No Doubt and began to actively exploit the image of a Hollywood blonde with red lips - the course of many pop performers, which can be listed for a very long time. In the clip "What You Waiting For?" Gwen - a sad singer, trapped in a rabbit hole (here her creative life, of course, lights up the meaning). The video was fabulously beautiful and crazy, like Alice in Wonderland itself. Gwen paints his eyebrows, tries on the bright futuristic images of Alice, the Hatter, the Queen and, not least, holds a small pig in his hands.
Fergie "Fergalicios"
Förgi gave a few hits, without which it is impossible to do, remembering the 2000s. For example, the song "Fergalicious", which would be meaningless and unfinished without its ironic, hopefully, video. Fergie appears in his recognizable image, which began to emerge already in the late activities of the group: emphasis on the eyes, red lipstick, waves of long blond hair and branded eyebrow piercing. She also dresses in a variety of clichéd images: a girl scout, a fitness trainer, a woman from a cake, a woman in sweets, sparkles, and someone else.
Avril Lavigne "Complicated"
During the heyday of pop culture with her divas, Avril Lavigne was still there, who did not wear crochet tops and sang mischievous pop-rock about the relationship of girls and boys skaters, which sometimes become very complicated. The video tells about a girl who is friends with boys, spends a lot of time with them in the skate park, constantly fooling around and makes everyone in basketball, but deep down suffers from one of her friends. Avril looks like many teenagers of zero on the rise of various subcultures that have not yet decided who they are: emo, rapper, or ska, on her shirt, baggy pants, striped black and white sleeves and a tie in the box. In cosmetics, Avril was quite austere: her eyes, let down in black, obviously, by her mother's pencil and simple lip gloss.
Pink "Stupid Girls"
Pink tried to oppose herself to the universal glamor of the null, which was distributed with the filing of American girls In "Stupid Girls," she makes fun of glamorous girls who are not concerned with anything but their little dog and appearance. The singer asks what happened to the girls who dreamed of becoming president? And he answers this and many questions, dressing up either in Paris Hilton, or in Jessica Simpson, dancing next to 50 Cent. Without changing his short blonde hair, Smokey Aiz and sense of humor.
Tokio Hotel "Rette Mich"
The German group Tokio Hotel became a phenomenon of the 2000s - it caused either strong love or strong hatred. Be that as it may, its influence on the Russian, and not only, youth and its appearance should be noted. Pale, slender teenager Bill Kaulitz in a black coat, with thickly painted black eyes, nails and anime haircut, woke girls around the world to a black eyeliner bordering on insanity. Needless to say, what to do bouffant, like Bill, wanted all your friends. No wonder - as the experience of decades has already shown, the make-up guys and sad love songs have always liked girls.
