Recently, among the successful newbies of the model business are increasingly found participants of the show "Top Model American-style" and its counterparts from different countries. These include Hamburg-born Brend Kranz. In 2009, the girl took part in the German version of the show, but the judges decided not to leave her in the project. The owner of the Hamburg Place agency, Yannis Nikolaou, did not agree with their opinion. In 2010, he noticed Krantz walking with her mother among the malls, and soon offered her a contract.
