Alina, Fabiana and Ilonka

Ukrainian Alina Baykova is called the dark horse of fashion business: bloggers started talking about the girl only after she debuted three weeks ago at the fashion week in New York. While visitors to the fashion forums tried to find at least some information about Alina, scoring her name thousands of times on Google and Yahoo, the young fashion model appeared on almost every third important show of the season. Her debut show was Carolina Herrera: the classic features of the face and the feminine figure of Baikova were perfect for demonstrating an elegant evening dress to the floor. The appearance, inherent, rather, in the actress of black and white cinema of the 20th century, rather than the type of model demanded in recent years (androgynous teenage girls often become them), contributed to the fact that Alina often showed dresses. Flying chiffon maxi sundresses by Marc Jacobs, Nicole Miller and John Galliano, classic sheath dresses by Isaac Mizrahi, Victoria Beckham and Gianfranco Ferre or playful mini bright colors on Elise Overland, Giambattista Valli or Francesco Scognamiglio. During the demonstration of the Lanvin collection, in which the number of dresses exceeded the number of decorations matched to them, Alina appeared in a black flowing jumpsuit, and at Christian Dior went out in a vest, hooded sweatshirts and shorts, stylized for sailors' clothes.

“We don’t want to tell you once again about exemplary beauty, but Alina Baykova fits perfectly with this description. Between her freshness and cruelty is just one step that can be done in an instant,” Fashion Does It Better authors describe Baikova’s appearance.

Now the Ukrainian model with the 39th leg size continues to participate in the Paris Fashion Week, in which her interests are represented by the French agency MManagement.

The career of the Brazilian model Fabiana Meyer developed impulsively. In 2007, having attached to the agency Why Not Models, she appeared in the cover of the Brazilian L'Officiel, a little later - for the Argentinean Elle, then nothing was heard about it for a long time. Two years later, Fabiana unexpectedly appeared at the fashion week in Rio de Janeiro. Even then, anticipating the future success of Mayer, two dozen Brazilian brands invited her to her shows: from Acquastudio, Cantão and Filhas de Gaia to Juliana Jabour, Melk-Z-Da and New Order. For several months, Fabiana left out of sight, but then reappeared on the catwalks of Rio and, after working on more than twenty shows, once again appeared on the cover of the Brazilian L'Officiel.

In August 2010, Fabiana signed a contract with the New York branch of the agency Marilyn, continued shooting for L'Officiel and Elle, and was photographed for the lookbook of the Linda de Morrer spring-summer collection. Fashion Week in New York began for a twenty-year-old Brazilian woman with two outs at a modest Parkchoonmoo show. Of course, in the American capital of fashion, the girl did not take part in as many shows as in her native Rio de Janeiro. But still, Fabian’s resumes turned out to be Adam, Doo.Ri, Michael Angel, Diesel Black Gold and Jeremy Laing. Real success was waiting for Meyer in London: Richard Nicoll, Charles Anastase, Mary Katrantzou and even Burberry - only a part of the shows, on which the fashion model appeared. In Milan, the girl collaborated with Brioni and Roberto Cavalli, and in Paris she again took leading positions among the novice models, making the show Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten, Celine, Rochas and Lanvin. They say that several brands want to invite Fabian to appear in advertising campaigns.

Danish Ilonka Verhel is not a newcomer to the modeling business: she began her career in 2007. But at that time, the girl was barely 15 years old, and although she had contracts with the agencies Tjarda and Why Not Models, due to her age, she rarely appeared on the catwalks. But independent magazines like Avantgarde, Must and Dojour, one by one, invited a girl with an elf appearance to appear not only in editorials, but also for covers. For two years, Verhele was known only as a model, but in 2009 Rad Hourani invited a Coldplay fan to the presentation of the Rad by Rad Hourani collection. Perhaps it was after this show that the editors of i-D and British Vogue noticed the girl, and the contract with the model was signed by the New York Model Management agency. It was then that the chances of Ilonka to become a successful model increased significantly. In her debut season (autumn-winter 2010), she appeared on the shows Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs and Jil Stuart in New York, Topshop Unique in London, Missoni, Marni and Prada in Milan, and Rick Owens in Paris. In the current season, the Danish participated in only one show - Ruffain. But over the past year, she has worked with photographers Mario Testino, Stephen Meisel, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggo, who shot her for the advertising campaigns of Max & Co and Nicole Farhi, German and Chinese Vogue. The work of the Ilonka model, in contrast to most newcomers to this business, is taken seriously.

"The next five years I will devote a modeling career. Many people believe in me and want to work with me because they like my personality. And, of course, I would like to go to the moon," says Verhele.
