7 major trends from London shows

Last week We talked about what is happening at London Fashion Week. Now Wonderzine sums up the most progressive series of shows. In this material - 7 trends from the show, which we will adapt to your wardrobe in a whole year. However, no one bothers to do it right now.

Art-knitting

Designers exploit art is not the first season in a row: the number of joint collections Marni, Louis Vuitton and Prada with artists there is no number. At the same time, stamps are inspired by objects of art and transfer their interpretation of these objects to clothing. And if earlier it was more about prints, now the course has gone knit. The British, known for their masterful handling of wool, are the first to set the trend: Burberry ponchos, Peter Pilotto costumes and Sister by Sibling sweaters looked like real pictures.

Snake skin

This type of skin is a frequent element of the collections of the autumn-winter season. This time it is used by Ashley Williams, Simone Rocha and Topshop Unique. Remember: you should buy either snake skin, a color that is not typical for it, such as emerald green and blue, or things from many pieces of leather.

Colored fur

We have repeatedly spoken about the popularity of colored fur, and, judging by the collections of the new season, it remains with us for a long time. Bulky boas and blue and yellow fur coats show Marques'Almeida, fur coats made from colorful fur blocks can be seen in Barbara Kolasinski, and Richard Nicoll and Osman add blue collars and scarves to things. We are only for, because it will be difficult to part with such beautiful fur.

Short volume down jackets

Perhaps the time of long coats will soon come to an end: designers are starting to show short down jackets that remotely resemble bombers - only warmer ones. KTZ is advised to wear them with skirts over leggings, and Topshop Unique - with mini-dresses and boots.

Skirts with asymmetrical hem

It is already clear that in the next season skirts with an asymmetrical hem will become our everything. J. W. Anderson and Jonathan Saunders show long skirts with ruffles sewn obliquely, and their colleague Mary Katrantzou has shiny, tailored dresses with pleated overlays and linings.

Things from multiple layers of fabric

Things from a variety of layers of fabric - organza and silk - appeared in the collections of Ashish Gupta and Christopher Kane. Definitely not the most practical trend - most suitable for the new Lady Gaga clips.

Colored tights

Last season, Max Mara and Miu Miu showed that wearing colored tights is not a shame. Many London designers, such as Michael van der Ham and Meadham Kirchhoff, agree with them. In their opinion, pantyhose should be matched in tones with everything else: orange - to peach, pink - to violet.
