Maria Stern: Laconic pearl jewelery

IN THE WEEKLY RUBRIC "NEW MARK" Wonderzine presents young designers and tells where and how you can buy their things. Our heroine this week is a young designer from Moscow who decided to solve the problem of the absence of laconic jewelry.

Maria Stern is just 20 years old. Now she is studying the history of art at Moscow State University and at the same time is engaged in the personalized jewelry brand, which she founded a year ago. The decision to engage in the production of jewelry came from the girl because of the personal need for neat rings, which she could not find anywhere. Maria chose the masters in Moscow and tried to make the first gold jewelery from her sketches. A year later, she tried her hand at work with natural pearls and topazes. So, Stern had laconic rings with six pearls, mono-earrings, cuffs and necklaces, and a personal brand appeared.

Maria Stern's pearl jewelry was noticed almost immediately by her current clients: Natalia Goldenberg, Ksenia Sobchak, Anna Zyurova, Natalia Alaverdyan, Svetlana Bondarchuk. Thanks to the recommendations of Goldenberg on Instagram of Stern’s work, the Buyer of Browns in London saw it and things went uphill. Today, Maria shows her jewelery in a Parisian showroom during fashion week and tries her hand at capsule collections. Recently, Stern collaborated with Natalia Alaverdyan, designer of A.W.A.K.E brand. They made rings, earrings and diadems in the form of dragonflies made of gold and silver.

Pearls are amazing material, natural and beautiful. The main idea was to show exactly him, cut off all unnecessary and create an effect, as if the pearl just lay on the hands. During the last fashion week in Paris, we first opened our showroom. We were surprised how many representatives of the Russian and world press and buyers came to see us. Next season, my jewelery will be found in Hong Kong, Seoul, Kiev and several other European concept stores.

Where to buy Maria Stern things
