On the third day of London Fashion Week Look At Me visited the backstage of Richard Nicoll and Nicole Farhi.

Richard Nicoll’s morning show was held in a spacious, bright building with huge windows - once there was a big Burberry store. Stylists and make-up artists are rarely lucky for so much space and daylight. The models had carelessly tucked up hair and 60s corners of the eyes emphasized: the main makeup artist of the show, Sam Bryant, admitted that in fact it was not even eyeliner, but a thick black plaster, which is usually used in hospitals (what the model thought about this, unfortunately, is unknown). The make-up, hair-do and the big white hall were in harmony with the minimalist, airy collection of Nicoll in pastel colors, which he showed under the hits of 50 years ago. And the staff was wearing Richard Nicoll's capsular collection for Fred Perry — sky blue silk shirt dresses.

Nicole Farhi SS 2012 - backstage report

The first thing I see when I go to Nicole Farhi's backstage is Nicole Farhi herself (in the first two photos on the left): she is painted by the main makeup artist of the show, Charlotte Tilbury. Judging by the way they joke and laugh, they have known each other for years. The models have a natural make-up with radiant skin and bright scarlet lips: later on the catwalk there was a feeling that you were watching the life of a busy embankment in a resort town along which carefree girls in yellow, orange, coral and white walk.
