Bookmarks: Online library with books on art and architecture

Online library Getty Research Portal exists not the first year. On the website in the public domain you can find more than 100 thousand digitized books and magazines on the history of art, architecture and other related areas, which can be viewed free of charge and, if desired, downloaded. Among the novelties of the collection, for example, Edgar Poe’s edition of The Crow with illustrations by Edward Manet and several publications about Vasily Kandinsky: the catalog of the artist’s exhibition held in 1945 in the Solomon Guggenheim Museum, dedicated to the Kandinsky monograph and the artist’s own texts. More than twenty organizations took part in the creation of the archive, including the Solomon Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago and the Warburg Institute in London.

In addition, in honor of its 4th anniversary, the portal has recently updated its design: now it’s more convenient to use it from tablets and smartphones, and viewing the search results has become easier - so it will be interesting not only for specialists.
