Mad motivational videos Shayi LaBafa
Shia LaBouf re-united with artists Luke Turner and Nastya Sadeh Ronkko for a joint project: the actor recorded a series of small videos for graduation works of students of Central Saint Martins college. The project was named #INTRODUCTIONS: short videos serve as an introduction to the graduation work of college students. Previously, each of the students had to prepare a piece of text of no more than one hundred words, which could be "as poetic, abstract or literal" as they wanted; however, it should reflect the mood and spirit of the work presented. Then the students were asked to impose their own image on the green background.
You can watch all the videos here (the video is available for free download): in one of them LaBouf reads his favorite poem (“The Laughing Heart” by Charles Bukowski), in others he meditates and conducts a dialogue with himself. But it is much more interesting to see what the Internet users turned into LaBaf's videos: the actor’s vivid motivational video was mixed with the Teletubbies screensaver, turned into a TED lecture, and LaBafa was made one of the Avengers members.
Recall that one of the brightest collaborative works of Shayi Labaaf and artists is the performance #IAMSORRY, during which the actor silently sat in one of the Los Angeles galleries with a paper bag on his head. For several days, gallery visitors were asked to choose any of the proposed items and be alone with the actor.
