How to dress in summer: 8 ways to live in the city
Thanks to the advice of stylists, we once again remembered the main trends of this summer: dress-combinations, blouses with open shoulders and coarse sandals promise to become the most "folk" things that can be bought at any mass market. But this does not mean that the wardrobe should be completely revised in accordance with the trends and stop wearing half of your favorite things. We have collected summer images for four different situations: they will help you to understand what things you are missing this summer and how to combine in a new way what is already hanging in the closet.
On every day
A dress of "crumpled" fabric and shoes with a flat sole
Do not like to iron? Our congratulations - things made of cloth, looking "chewed" and mint, this summer especially in honor. Truly luxurious suites featured Nina Ricci, Victoria Beckham and Altuzarra. If you are looking for a universal thing for the summer, then perhaps an uncomfortable dress of a dusty pink color is your option. In order to reduce the degree of tenderness, wear it with a flat sole and a shopping bag.
Shorts and transparent blouse
Things from transparent fabrics always in abundance return to stores closer to spring - really, when, if not in the warm season, you can afford to combine translucent and very translucent materials? If a hot summer day is not burdened with work, a light transparent blouse can be a real salvation. In order not to look too naked, it is better to dwell on the compromise combination of a transparent blouse and a neutral base crop top. A transparent light dress, which serves as an additional layer in the set, also looks unbanal and interesting.
To the open air party
Dress with cuts and sandals with ties
Various cuts, deep cleavage lines and open backs are a real must have of the upcoming summer. Does the red dress of Bella Hadid from the Cannes Film give rest? We advise you to repeat the exit, and an open-air party is just an excellent occasion. The only thing that does not fit well with the numerous cuts and decollete is constraint and discomfort. Everything else is optional. Flat sole or steady heel? Clutch bag or small bag-bag? Start from personal preference. Our choice is sandals or shoes with a lot of strings, which can be bought both in Zara and in Miu Miu. If you are still not sure that you are ready to sparkle for a long time in a deep slit, grab a voluminous jacket with you.
Dress with sequins and rough sandals
Things with sequins - huge and small - designers advise this season to wear with simple everyday things. Shorts - with white t-shirts, waist bags - with combination dresses. And yet hardly anyone will argue that this is traditionally festive material, which reveals itself in a new way under the evening lighting. Putting on a combination dress with large sequins is perhaps the simplest solution - it is comfortable and easy to stroll around and dance desperately.
To the office
Shirt dress and shoes with a steady heel
Dress shirt - office constant for all times. It can be worn even if your company has a dress code. Consider only the question of length: if a short dress is unacceptable, choose the option below the knee. For the rest of the lucky ladies we advise you to take a closer look at light-colored mini-dresses with short sleeves - this won't be hot, even if the air conditioner is intermittent.
Zipped skirt and shirt with open shoulder line
Skirt for work does not have to be a strict and inconspicuous black pencil skirt. Western skirts and asymmetrical Jacquemus-inspired versions are also suitable, as is one of the most popular materials of spring-summer collections — suede (although it would seem). Expensive, but for all times - the skirt of this material looks noble, even with a simple top in the linen style. And in the office you can try to combine it with a shirt with an open line of shoulders - the most fashionable thing of the summer. Although the option we choose looks moderately reserved, it is worth recalling that it would be appropriate in offices with a not too strict dress code.
At the city festival
Coverall and coarse shoes
Festival fashion is fairly constant, and even people far from the industry will easily name five or more things that are associated with it: tie-dai shirts, embroidery, fringe, rough shoes and eccentric sunglasses. But where else to break the rules, if not at a rock concert? The main thing is to focus on the weather and forget about white sneakers or open shoes. We advise you to look at the pleats - this is also a noticeable trend of the season. And if pleated midi skirts are not the most comfortable thing to have fun outdoors, then a thin jumpsuit is quite for yourself. Do not forget to throw in a backpack plenty of water, sun cream, bandanna or cap.
Bomber and modest dress
Ties, bows and ribbons were especially popular last season and stay with us in the same. To reduce the degree of infantilism, combine the dress with a neat bow with frankly sporting things: a bomber jacket, which will help with bad weather, and a belt bag - the most convenient thing for such events.
