GOODNESSMARKET: T-shirts with cheeky inscriptions
IN THE WEEKLY RUBRIC "NEW MARK" Wonderzine presents young designers and tells where and how you can buy their things. Our heroine this week is Lera Nikolskaya, half the duo kaigerda and creator of the brand # GOODNESSMARKET.
Lera Nikolskaya launched her own small brand at the age of 17 after an unsuccessful love story. Instead of getting depressed, eating ice cream and spending days watching TV shows, Lera came up with a hobby of herself - making T-shirts with sarcastic and provocative inscriptions. The first was a white T-shirt with a print in the form of bruises on the neck and the inscription "I killed my boyfriend." Then black and white T-shirts appeared with the phrases: “You are nowhere, I am everywhere”, “Pain is youth”, “Evil has won”, “I'm sorry mom”, “No rules after 40 °”, “Headliner of your life” , "Your boyfriend text me" and others. To Nikolskaya's surprise, things turned out to be in demand and quickly sold themselves.
The new collection #GOODNESSMARKET has colored T-shirts and pink hoodie with holographic inscriptions "New Emo", "I miss you when I'm bored", "Good girls get drugs for free". In the near future Lera has plans to launch sweatshirts. Nikolskaya is also experimenting with accessories and creates reflective chokers on the neck. She plans to develop the brand and by the next summer to make a line of beach accessories and swimsuits. In addition, in support of the “Slaughterhouse” party, Lera created a small capsule of colorful t-shirts that are great to wear under the olympic shirt.
