Designer Sofia Agabalova about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell stories related to them. This week, our heroine - designer, DJ and administrator of the sports club "Bobo" Sofia Agabalova.

I think I do not have of a certain style - I dress according to my mood, so I look differently every day. My mother loved to dress up in her youth: she told me how she found the patterns in the magazine Burda, after which the tailor sewed her favorite models. In childhood, I also tried to wear the best of all - I always had unusual dresses for children's matinees. Looking through the photos, I am surprised at how many interesting outfits I had.

After school, I went to college to study clothing designer and began to communicate with a company in which everyone wore vintage items. It fascinated me too: I began to dress in all oversight - my parents were constantly outraged that I did not wear clothes that fit. At the same time, I traveled to Petersburg for the first time, where my friends and I went by second-hand and “Udelke” - I then took two packages of things, for example, my favorite sweater for a hundred rubles. Now my wardrobe consists in half of the mass market and second-hand, with age I calmed down and began to choose more wearable clothes.

I love to search for things in the mass market during sales. Once I was walking along the Kuznetsky Bridge and decided to go to Zara, where I saw this jacket - she remained in a single copy, as if she was waiting for me. Now I really like things that shine delicately.

Jeans - Levi's, 501st model. Friends often give me clothes that didn’t fit them: “I have jeans and a trench coat. Do you want to try on? I don’t wear.” I got these pants from a friend - they sat down like a glove. I rarely put on my heels, only on a special occasion: I can’t walk in them for a long time, my back starts to hurt. I prefer the most in sneakers, wear them with everything.

Gave a birthday present. I love bright things, but I always combine them with something calm.

This year I went to my grandmother in Ukraine: I looked into the network second-hand, I looked at it for a very long time and eventually stumbled upon this dress. I really liked it - I brought it as a souvenir from Kharkov.

There is a story connected with these sneakers: somehow, nineteen thousand were transferred to my map by mistake. I really wanted to return them, but they said in the bank that this is impossible until the person himself appears. As a result, no one wrote to me, and after a while I bought these sneakers.

I sewed this scarf myself - it is reflective. It all started with a special fabric, which I saw in the store when I worked as an assistant fashion designer. Then I had the idea to sew reflective accessories - the fabric was very small in Russia, I bought everything that was. My exclusive designer thing!

T-shirt - a gift, a skirt from Kiev second-hand, Zara boots

A t-shirt was given to me by a friend, whom she turned out to be small. My friend and I found the skirt in a Kiev commission shop - I have long wanted such a leather thing for myself. She left a super happy one - she cost me two hundred rubles for our money.

I saw this dress and just fell in love - though I didn't have any money then. I told my mother about this, after which she offered to give it to me for the New Year (usually my mother does not understand my style at all). I was very happy and put on a dress for the holiday itself. A thing for special occasions - evening events and parties, - in everyday life it is difficult to wear it, the dress is “frayed” and leaves glitter.

I wanted to buy sneakers in colors like those of Forrest Gampa, but I chose between two models for so long that in the end there was only such a pair in my size. I wear with dresses, shorts and jeans.

Top bought for boxing, found on Lamoda. It is very comfortable in it, I can wear it to a party to make it convenient to move and dance.

I also found this dress at the sale - I thought, if I didn’t buy it, I would greatly regret it. As a result, it cost me seven hundred rubles. I wear shoes with jeans and a dress - I love them for an unusual heel. I have long wanted to have a small wallet - I accidentally found it in the sale zone! Conveniently, it is on the strap - cards and money are always at hand.

I found the brand of this bag in instagram - it is made by a guy from Lobnya whom we became friends with. In general, this is a bag for graffiti artists: inside it is covered with foil to make it comfortable to carry cans. Very roomy - even sneakers for training fit into it. After some time, the founder of Hood began to make clothes and released a series of longsles. Their prints react to heat: when it is cold, they become brighter, and when it is warm, it becomes paler.
