How has the music industry changed since you started working in it?

From the moment I began to actively engage in music, there was its transition to the Internet. They don't buy discs, giant labels go bankrupt, everyone is listening to MP3s. Very few people perceive music as albums, although the musician conveys to the listener some kind of holistic picture. So I'm sorry that people began to download tracks separately.

What are you doing right now?

With Glintshake, we write tracks for a new album and think a lot about how it will sound in the end. We never steamed on this score, but simply wrote as we did. Guided by what we liked to listen to in childhood, in the 1990s. But suddenly we realized that we wanted to invent something on our own. And I understand that in 2013 it is very difficult to do this, but suddenly something will work out. In addition, we listen to a lot of different music. Let's try to invent your own sound. What girls inspire you?

Who sincerely do their job. As a manager of Tesla Boy. I know her for a long time, she is a very sincere girl. For whatever would be taken, believes in it to the last. Two of my friends, Natasha Ganelina and Nastya Mikhailova, are engaged in concerts at Strelka. They have been doing this for a year now, and it’s cool with them. In general, I have the respect of people who believe in what they do. This is definitely a Grimes. At first, she annoyed me like hell, because it seemed that her production was not ready, and in general she did everything on her knee. I myself had a lot of electronic blanks, and I was always shy about them, because it seemed to me that they were incomplete. Then I realized that Grimes really does everything that he wants, and does not strive for it. She is super-high, her music is very close to me. It is very simple, and it seems to me that this is not enough in pop music now. Katy Perry or Lady Gaga is frilly, and Grimes is light and free. In modern people should be decisive, consistency. The main thing is to have inner harmony and be aware of yourself in this world, everything else will follow. The most destructive quality in humans is envy. It seems to me that a person needs to get rid of negativity and strive to be more open to people. You need to take everything more calmly and do what you like.

What do you miss in Moscow?

In Moscow, I do not have enough normal colors. If the colors of the buildings were coordinated and thought out, the city would look completely different, even with not always beautiful architecture. To plant trees: it’s a pity that we have cars on the pavements instead of trees.
