Holders of oily skin often want to make it more matte. There are several ways to do this, but first you need to normalize it as a whole. To do this, use moisturizers without fats, so that the skin does not produce too much sebum. Yes, in order to normalize the skin, it just needs to be moistened, no matter how strange it may sound. It is also important to stop using products with alcohol. Oily skin is not always sensitive, but in any case, give preference to products without the use of artificial oils, as they contribute to clogged pores.
You can refer to the cosmetic effect of matting. Powders do not always save the situation, since the skin may not respond to this remedy in the best way - it starts to dry out and produce even more sebum. Often powder - a product not only matting, but also correcting the tone of the face and hides defects. Give preference to products without zinc, but rather pick up a mineral powder, which will moisturize and not clog pores. As for matting creams, the main thing is to choose the right product. Not only zinc and alcohol can dry out the skin, it is also undesirable to use silicone, although it creates a good matting effect and is used in bases, creams and other means. Often, owners of oily skin have enlarged pores and a tendency to inflammation, and silicone can provoke them. Choose matting creams that contain natural matting ingredients (for example, flaxseed powder, cornstarch), which fight only with excess sebum, without overdrying the skin.
Sometimes in winter, oily skin normalizes slightly due to the cold. At this time, you can incorporate products containing light oils, such as grape seed, into the care system. It is important not to use products with dense oils, such as shea, coconut or cocoa butter. It is better to exclude water-based gel textures - at this time of year they may simply be useless.
