Album of "anti-fashion" photos "People of the XXI century"

WONDERZINE talks about beautiful, functional or strange things that you want to buy immediately.

An excellent purchase (or gift) for everyone who likes our “Photoproject” heading: the world-famous publisher Phaidon has released a monumental album by the Dutchman Hans Eikelboom, dedicated to the theme of diversity and uniformity of the people on the planet Earth. "People of the 21st Century" is a huge collection of photographs taken all over the world, in fact a conceptual catalog of anti-street style. Over the years, Eickelboom filmed ordinary passersby on the streets of cities around the world - from New York and Paris to Shanghai - in order to later make up a kind of filing card: people on a raincoat bike, people in T-shirts with Mickey Mouse, men topless on rollers, elderly ladies in colorful dresses. It is pleasant to keep this book handy for yourself and guests - first, looking at these works will never get bored, and second, it reminds so little of a simple fact: we are all so different - and we are all so alike.

By the way, if any of you are in Paris now, keep in mind that tomorrow Colette’s concept store will present a book and meet with photographer Hans Eickelboom, where he will happily sign a copy of yours.
