5 applications for short workouts

Recently, many new programs have appeared that allow us to keep yourself in shape (not only physical). Many of them are easier to illustrate in the format of applications for smartphones, but at the same time almost everyone has their own website. We chose five diverse practices that take from five minutes to half an hour a day.

NTC is an application for iOS and Android platforms and a home gym with various-sized workouts of varying complexity and duration. For those who have never succeeded, there is a series of 15-minute workouts of “star” athletes like Serena Williams and the same short ones for certain muscle groups: abdominal, arms, legs. Over time, when the number of “trained” minutes exceeds one of the boundaries set by the application, new levels and bonus workouts will open. Motivating badges that can be boasted in social networks, of course, are also heard.

As they say on Twitter, “with the advent of 7 Minute Workout, no one has left the excuses” - and this is true. If you spend half an hour on meditation or jogging (getting up from the couch, diving, pulling leggings, choosing and laced up sneakers, warm up) you can still not find, then there is always seven minutes to practice. As you might guess, 7 Mins is an intensive program; in 420 seconds you need to have time to jump, stand in the "bar", push, jump and do other familiar and seemingly simple exercises. It is most convenient to go through it with the application of the same name: the timer counts all the intervals, and the diagram of the current exercise is always displayed on the smartphone screen.

If the DW color solution is rather doubtful, then the filling will give odds to many applications: 50 exercises, five-minute targeted workouts, and ten-minute exercises for all muscle groups. In the free version - the same exercises as in the paid one: on the muscles of the arms, legs, abs and cardio; "full" workouts, so that classes do not get bored, change every day.

Meditation is an integral part of many workouts, but you can naturally practice it separately. Simply Being was recommended at one time by the Huffington Post, The NY Times, Yoga Journal as an exemplary application: the volume of voice commands (“close your eyes and breathe deeply”), music and nature sounds can be adjusted or completely turned off, the time of meditation also varies: all five minutes to 20. The main thing - do not fall asleep.

Coach to 5 Kilometers is one of the clearest and most benign programs that anyone who sets himself that goal can go. And yes, it's about running. C25K is built on the interval principle: for example, the first week will have to run a minute every fifteen, on the fifth - five after three, and on the final ninth - half an hour of pure non-stop running. The only "but": warm-up and "cooling down" (cooling down) is better to spend longer than recommended, at least 15 minutes.
