Anya Rubik in a very strange clip
Popular model with Polish roots, the star of the 2000s Anya Rubik became the heroine of one of the strangest music videos we have ever seen. In the video for the song "Chleb" (which translates, oddly enough, "Bread"), rapper Mister D parodies the culture, mentality and social foundations of the Poles. The video sequence jumps from a low-budget reality to a colorful world of fantasy, and the plot is viewed with difficulty. Rubik plays the princess Dresaria - the alter ego of the main character. We do not know Polish, and we can’t say exactly what the song says, but in the video we are talking about two teenagers, whose love story broke about the death of the mother and the life that fell on the lovers. The author of the song and the clip is rapper Mister D, the stage role of Polish writer and playwright Dorota Maslowska, who regularly criticizes contemporary Polish culture in her works. Anya Rubik explained that she adores everything that Maslovskaya does, and therefore could not refuse to cooperate. “The Mister D music album is practically a social experiment, its goal is to provoke people, make them think,” the model said.
