Assorted: "Berry" decorative and caring cosmetics
AUTHOR BLOG Fierce & Cute Moore Soboleva once a week makes for us a thematic selection of products from his extensive collection of cosmetics. Creams, fragrances, lip products and even rare lumpy soaps got into today.
Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay Flavor
The relatively recent fragrance of Jo Malone instantly became the undisputed bestseller, which is logical: it seems to me that it looks like the perfect smell of the “girl Jo Malone”. Deceptively simple, very green, vigorous and at the same time gentle - tart berries, bitter laurel and the general feeling of blissful reverie. I love Blackberry & Bay for this opportunity to play in the carefreeness of a rich heiress, relaxing in the idyllic British manor in the summer. Well, also for the fact that he is suitable for any outfit and weather, without slipping into banality.
Aroma L'Artisan Parfumeur Mûre et Musc Extrême
In the collections, united by a common theme, I try to combine various defendants and not repeat (as was the case, for example, with precious stones or desserts), but here I deliberately chose two blackberry flavors. Because by M нельзяre et Musc, the armor-piercing hit L'Artisan Parfumeur, born in 1978, cannot be passed. I have this smell in the Extrême version - it is interesting to observe how the blackberry, which is clearly felt in Blackberry & Bay, becomes sweet, languid and adult here. The heroine of Mûre et Musc is the same heiress, who has already returned to the city and put on her high heels.
Lipstick Burberry Blueberry
I love Burberry lipstick terribly and, among them, I single out the Lip Mist balsam series as the most moisturizing and interesting - these lipsticks have a very moist glossy effect and amusing shades. On behalf of Blueberry, you expect a berry, lilac-pink shade, but it turns out the way you can see by crushing blueberries: reddish, with a clear brown subtone. As the dear reader has already understood, this is a complex color (I read many epithets in the blogger reviews, and I myself cut out half of the adjectives from this chapter), but it is calm and very beautiful.
Hand Cream The Body Shop Strawberry
The novelty of The Body Shop - light moisturizers for hands in mini-formats with scents of the most popular collections. I have a strawberry, and it smells like a chewing gum or milkshake from childhood - pleasant and nostalgic. As for the technical properties, you should not count on nutritional value: the creams are very light, so I can use my only as a day. This is not bad - the cream is really quickly absorbed, and the volume of 30 milliliters is enough to carry a tube with you (and wake up edible smells in your appetite).
Eyeliner Mary Kay Mulberry Forest
Unexpectedly for all, the brand released last autumn an extraordinary beauty collection dedicated to fairy tales - such shades and design would not be embarrassed in Lime Crime. Most of all in the collection was a success, as it seems to me, the cherry lip gloss Mulberry Forest and the eponymous eyeliner in the same dark cherry shade. The pencil is automatic, and, like many of his fellows, a little dryish - but even I spoiled it, I like it very much for an extraordinary red tint that does not turn piggy eyes.
Kiehl's Açaí Damage-Correcting Moisturizer Face Cream
Kiehl's is one of my all-time favorite facial care brands. So despite the fact that the Acai berry series came up with me, perhaps, a little less than the rest of the brand’s products, I still want to turn it on - just from a tender attitude. Moreover, I didn’t really love the serum from this line, but the moisturizer was good - it evens out the complexion well (my main problem) and is so dense that it is enough for my dry skin.
Christina Fitzgerald Amanda Boysenberry Nail Polish
A beautiful dark purple-aubergine shade, named after boysenberry - a strange blackberry hybrid with raspberries. Cream varnishes from Christina Fitzgerald are applied perfectly, and this is no exception. The press release claims that the lacquer is named after Christina's hairdresser (although it seems to have already had a lacquer after the hairdresser - apparently, the poor creature had to search for new ones all the time in search of inspiration), but I like to think that the shade was named after the divine Amanda Palmer, and giggle about this.
Soap Karali Chyrvonya Parechki
I don't use soap in principle, but Karali wanted to try it. It is easy to interest me: firstly, I am always pleased when in the post-Soviet space they do something successful and entertaining in the cosmetic field, and Karali is a Belarusian brand. Secondly and most importantly, my friends from Cosmotheca brought Karali to Moscow, and I really trust their taste. Handmade soap really turned out to be very pretty - packed in paper and cardboard retro box, looks wonderful and smells like currant jam. Well, it washes fine, of course.
Clinique Raspberry Lip Balm
I have been using the Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss glitters for a long time - it is rather, even moisturizing toning balms. Raspberry looks threateningly red in a tube, but in fact gives a delicate pink and red tint. Superbalm is very useful in the household: they can be used on top of a bright, but dry lipstick as a balm, or simply adjusting their makeup by the end of the day, when there is no strength for a smooth drawing of anything. While writing this note, I remembered that I have a set of duty free with five of these brilliance in mini-formats - epic win!
Water for Caudalie Eau de Raisin
I love the Epicureanic brand Caudalie, which I have already written here several times, and I like its grape water for a face in a separate line. I usually use it after a tonic: my mother taught me to apply serums and creams on moist skin in my youth, and I like this grape water as an intermediate stage most of all - although, of course, you can use thermal water and not break your face water from the tap. In general, the purest pampering, and perhaps that is why I like her so much.
