5 Halloween Makeup Options
Yesterday we talked about very scary images on Halloween and promised that we would show make-up with which it is comfortable to go to a party. It was difficult to choose just five characters to interpret, but reluctantly we stopped at C-3PO from Star Wars, Lore Palmer from Twin Peaks, the sea witch Ursula from Little Mermaid, Princess Gum from Time to Adventure and Emily from "Corpse Bride".
C-3PO
How to do it:any powdery or creamy golden shadows like MAC Gorgeous Gold and Maybelline Color Tattoo Gold Rush or Bold Gold; Highlighters: NARS The Multiple Gold Beach or Essence Metal Glam; gold lipstick for hair Oribe Gold Pomade
We do not know who, at least once in their life, did not want to cover themselves with gold from head to foot, like a girl from Goldfinger (without comparable consequences, of course). For an unobtrusive cosplay of the Star Wars robot translator, you can choose powdery and creamy textures - any will give the desired shimmer, so it’s better to start from skin type (dry will be more comfortable with cream, normal and oily - on the contrary). Tint is also worth choosing for a specific face and mood: bronze, platinum, pink gold will look the same cool, and on the hair, too.
Laura, as the spectator sees her for the first time, has a pale face, slightly bluish lips and eyelids and wet hair — all this can be simulated with a minimum of means. Dark skin will fit and powder a few shades lighter on the light better to apply a white base for makeup - it will last longer and lead the tone to unnatural. With the styling gel, the effect of wet hair can be done in literally half a minute, the same amount will be spent on staining the lips and eyelids with lilac and blue shadows. By the way, if you worry that the image is not considered, you can dress up in a plastic rain cover with a hood - this will be completely in the forehead.
Emily
How to do it:purple or blue makeup base like Make Up For Ever HD Primer, black pencil or eyeliner, mascara, purple or blue shadows for sculpting, lipstick Estée Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick Raspberry
If you're ready to paint your face completely, we have two options: Emily from Corpse Bride and Princess Gum from Adventure Time. At the first, except for the inanimate complexion, an interesting eyebrow fracture, high cheekbones and eyelashes Twiggy. The latter can be painted with a brush with eyeliner, a pencil, or even with a narrow and unsharp brush mascara (as in L'Oréal Telescopic). Another point: to highlight the cheekbones on a painted face, the usual tool does not fit - you need something that is several tones darker than the base and is on one side of the color wheel.
Ursula
How to do it: Lime Crime Carousel Gloss Cherry on Top Lip Gloss, NYX Peach Pink Blush, Milani Olympian Blue Blue Eye Shadow, Black Eyeliner and Mascara
One of the most impressive cartoon characters is easily reproduced: Ursula from The Little Mermaid has bright make-up and a recognizable front sight in the corner of the mouth. She also has purple skin and tentacles, but this is optional. There should be no difficulties here either: it is easy to outline the smooth contour of the lips, and blue shadows can be applied to the entire moving eyelid with a finger. If you, too, always thought that they were underestimated, there is an excellent reason to argue.
Princess Gum
How to do it: MAC Pigment MAC Chromaline Process Magenta, pink lip gloss H & M, cream blush Catrice Matchpoint Blush Stick or liquid YSL Kiss and Blush Fuchsia Desinvolte, glue for false eyelashes DUO or liquid latex, sequins INGLOT Body Sparkles, mascara
We can only guess about the facial features of Princess Gum, but we can easily repeat her color and interpret the tiara. We did not paint the entire face and neck, but focused on the protruding parts and the area around the eyes: eyelids, cheekbones, temples, hairline and collarbone with neck painted in one shade. One remedy will cope with all this, it is extremely bright - cream blush, which can be easily tinted, or lipstick. Tiara can be laid out with rhinestones (long and pretentious) or sequins (quickly and unobtrusively).
